I primarily care for pets in my clients’ homes because I believe they feel safest and most comfortable in their familiar environment. I currently work from home and have a flexible schedule, which allows me to spend extended time with pets during the day — providing companionship, playtime, feeding, and regular check-ins rather than only short visits. When I am in a client’s home, I always respect their space and follow all house rules and care instructions. I keep doors and windows secure, ensure pets stay in safe areas, and never bring visitors or outside animals into the home. I follow each pet’s daily routine closely, including feeding schedules, walks, cleaning, and medication if needed, so their lifestyle remains consistent and stress-free. I pay careful attention to body language and behavior to make sure pets feel relaxed and emotionally supported. I provide frequent updates and photos so owners always know how their pets are doing. My goal is to create a calm, safe, and trustworthy environment — and to care for every pet with the same patience and respect I would give to my own family.
A typical day
During a typical visit, I spend time keeping your dog comfortable, relaxed, and happy in their familiar environment. We’ll go for a calm walk around the neighborhood, have playtime based on your dog’s energy level, and enjoy some gentle bonding time such as brushing or quiet companionship. I follow your normal routines for feeding, potty breaks, and training habits so your dog feels safe and consistent while you’re away. I also provide photo and message updates so you always know how your pet is doing.
