Ein typischer Tag
I like to make each dog walk as safe and enjoyable as possible. If I know you are working on specific leash behaviour, I do my best to keep as exact to the habits you’re teaching as I can. While walking on sidewalks or similar, I like to keep a snug leash, so I can minimise pulling and keep an eye on dogs who like to find treasures. I try to find a space during the walk to let them have more leash room and run/ play for a few minutes, if I can do so safely. When we’re back inside, I like to play and be silly, especially with dogs who seem to get more energy from walks! Each pet has their own needs and I make it my goal to find ways to show I respect those needs and care for each of them.

I have cared for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and I love each like my own. In 2014 I volunteered at an animal shelter, and learned best handling practices. I know that some dogs can be sensitive; I am patient and knowledgeable about their body language. I believe in positive re-enforcement, and plenty of attention. I have also cared for a variety of other pets (ex. cats, birds, ferret, guinea pig), so if additional assistance is needed, I'm sure this is something which we can discuss. My own pets mean the world to me— I understand wanting to know your furbabies are loved and doing well when you can't be home with them! While in my care, you can expect reports of your pets' appetite, behaviour, and activities, and lots of pictures! -I respect your privacy, and will be happy to remove any pet photos you wish. I also try to avoid any major belongings seen in the background.-

Our first time using Jessica and Rover.com was an excellent experience. Jessica texted photos & updates which we appreciated. Our home was tidy when we returned. Highly recommend Jessica to anyone looking for an in home pet sitter.

We usually have anxiety when we leave Grizzly with someone new, but Jessica definitely made us feel comfortable and confident that he was in good hands. She sent daily updates and pics. We will definitely be using Jessica for future stays.
