I have experience working as a veterinary assistant from January 2021 to January 2026. I have dealt with many different types of animals with different needs. I have experience in administering medications and completing nail trims, as well as cuddling and petting! I feel comfortable caring for all sizes and breeds. I began house/pet sitting for my coworkers in the summer of 2024 and realized that I enjoy caring after all of these pets and learning their different personalities as well as spending time with them. I am very well versed in reading body language from both cats and dogs, and will promise to give your pet the care they need. I will take very good care of your fur baby and treat them as my own!

Janelle was an excellent sitter for our two pups. She was patient with our nervous Great Dane and was extremely attentive to all her needs, which we greatly appreciated. She sent us regular updates and made sure to keep us aware of how the dogs were doing. Her ability to deal with our sassy pug is a testament to her patience and care. I would highly recommend Janelle for anyone looking for a pet caregiver who is willing to go the extra mile to make sure your pets are well taken care of.

Janelle looked after my elderly chat (who required daily pills) and younger one by house sitting for a two week period in September. She was thorough in her questions and review my care notes asking additional questions to ensure she was giving high quality care. Although I was out of the country on vacation, she sent me regular pics and short videos which put my mind at ease. She did a great job and I would definitely recommend her services.
Janelle was great. She is obviously a dog lover. She was very professional and very trustworthy with our little Jack and the house. She was easily reachable and there were no issues whatsoever. Janelle even clipped Jack’s nails as a bonus. We highly recommend her.
Janelle is the best! She is great at medicating our grumpy cat and is very communicative with us. Helps us feel reassured that our kitty is doing ok when we have to leave her at home alone.
We really appreciated having Janelle drop in on our senior cat while we were away. She gave her medication (not the easiest thing to do with it feisty girl) and made sure she was fed and given lots of pets. Our cat was recovering from a recent illness so Janelle also reported back on her continued progress so we could feel more confident and reassured on our trip. When our cat threw up, Janelle went above and beyond and cleaned up after her and checked to make sure there weren't other concerns in her litter box. We would absolutely book Janelle again for future cat sitting and would recommend her to any other pet owners.

Schedule
I am a student at university, as well as work throughout the week. My schedule does change quite often as I have reading weeks and breaks between semesters. If you do have any questions or any concerns regarding scheduling, please let me know and we can work together to figure it out!
