Hi! I’m super outdoorsy and know all the best trails around the area. I live in a house with a fenced yard next to a park with fields. I know how it feels to leave for vacation and how it can be difficult to find someone trustworthy enough to leave your furry friend with. Let me know if your dog has any special needs or requests and I’ll keep you posted with how he/she is doing :) I hope to give your doggo the best day ever! Experience: I’ve always had at least one dog in my household for 10 years. I’ve worked with german shepherds, poodles, shih tzus, parrots, horses, cats, and a few reptiles. I love all animals and enjoy spending time with both high and low energy dogs. I have a 2 year old golden retriever who I raised from puppyhood and we practice advanced obedience!

Janelle is the most amazing sitter a parent could ask for! She takes the best care of our little Linky, while providing regular pics/videos/updates. She is the standard for which all other sitters should be measured and we wouldn’t trust anyone else with our precious boy :)
Janelle was a life saver after our other booking cancelled last minute before our trip. She was really sweet and made sure that Kashi felt comfortable at all times.
We’re repeat customers and Janelle is hands down our favorite sitter! Lincoln stayed with her for about two weeks over the holidays and had the BEST time. She takes amazing care of him, treats him like family, and sends frequent updates with photos and videos which we truly appreciate. Lincoln always comes home happy and relaxed. We already have our next booking in place and can’t wait to be back again soon! 💛
So thankful for Janelle. She has so much patience with our dog Biscuit who can be a little high maintenance and she provided so many thoughtful updates while we were away. We really appreciate her care and passion for taking care of Biscuit!
Janelle is absolutely the best! This was our pug Lincoln’s third stay with her and he is always treated like family during his stays. He is well taken care of and he is always happy to be there and hang out with Lady. She is our go-to sitter and we wouldn’t trust our boy with anybody else! We can definitely use more people like Janelle in the world :)
Janelle was a great sitter for our dog Dexter and cat, Sadie. She did a meet and greet before the stay. She walked Dexter which we really appreciated as he loves the outdoors. She made sure to send pictures so we knew he was well and having fun. I would definitely recommend Janelle for an overnight stay.

Schedule
I currently work from home full time and am able to give your pet attention 24/7. Depending on the dogs needs, I aim to get a long walk completed in the morning, then feeding and downtime, walk during lunch, and a walk before bed. They’re allowed on the furniture to hangout and I have several dog beds in my office so that they can be with me then too.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced yard and a golden retriever to keep your pup company. My first priority is to make sure the dog is comfortable and to build a relationship with him/her. I try to give them a good amount of physical and mental exercise to help ease being away from home. Food and water dishes are cleaned after each use and I offer a crate for dogs who prefer to have a more private space.

A typical day
We can do walks around the park and hiking if the dog is up for it! While at home I love doing obedience training. I also make sure to offer kongs and long lasting chews. Slow feeders and puzzles are available too if the dog is used to them.
