Loving pet mom!
As a lifelong animal lover, I’m comfortable caring for pets across the entire energy spectrum, from independent shy cats to high-energy athletic dogs. I currently have two cats of my own, so I understand that every pet has their own personality and needs. One of my cats is shy and requires daily medication, so I’m experienced with administering medications and helping nervous pets feel comfortable and safe. My other cat is incredibly social, food-motivated, and always ready to remind me exactly when dinner should be served, so I’m no stranger to pets who know what they want! I also grew up with two Vizslas, which taught me just how much exercise, attention, patience, and consistency active dogs need. Whether your pet is looking for a playmate, a walking buddy, extra cuddles, or simply someone reliable to stick to their routine, I’m happy to provide the care they need. I treat every animal as if they were my own, and while I absolutely adore my cats, I’m always excited for an opportunity to get my dog fix, too. I’d love to meet your pets and help make sure they feel happy, comfortable, and cared for while you're away.

I know Jane to be responsible and diligent from seeing her work ethic at school, her dedication to swim practice, and the caring and patient way she’s taken care of her new dog. She is trustworthy and reliable, and she would be a great dog-sitter, house-sitter, or baby-sitter.
Jane is a wonderful dog parent. She has two dogs, one a year old, and another a 4-month old puppy. She is very patient, as is necessary with young dogs, and she handles them well. One thing I’ve noticed when she interacts with her dogs is that she is thoroughly prepared for a given situation. When she takes them for a walk, she places the back of her hand on the sidewalk or road to see if it is too hot for the puppy to walk on. She brings treats and cold water to make sure they don’t become dehydrated, and treats to train them to get off of the edge of the road and into the grads if a car is coming (her dogs don’t like to walk in the grass). Again, she is very patient. Personally I would not like someone who is easily frustrated to pet sit for me, because sometimes leashes can get tangled and a squirrel can pop up, and we all know what happens next... In that situation, Jane would calmly redirect the dog’s attention and untangle the leashes and continue on her walk. I highly recommend Jane as a pet sitter. She is a delightful person who loves dogs and appreciates the joy they bring to our lives.
