Dog Lover Extraordinaire!!
I took a break between Jan 2026 - to July 2026, I have just reactivated my Rover account. About Me I've been a devoted dog owner since 2008 and have nearly 20 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs. My journey began with a West Highland Terrier and a Maltese, who were treasured members of my family for 11 wonderful years. After they passed away, I rescued a beautiful 12-year-old Miniature Poodle, who brought so much joy to my life until he sadly passed away just before his 15th birthday in 2023. Although I don't currently have a dog of my own, caring for dogs has always been a huge part of my life, which is why I've joined Rover. Before moving to Broadway, I lived in London, where, after a successful corporate career, I spent five years working as a professional dog boarder and walker. During that time, I cared for dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages and temperaments, giving me extensive experience with puppies, senior dogs, larger breeds, administering medication, managing special diets and caring for dogs with additional needs. I pride myself on being calm, patient and affectionate. Every dog in my care is treated as if they were my own, with plenty of love, attention and, of course, exercise. I believe all dogs benefit from regular physical activity, whatever their size or age. Dogs staying with me are welcome to roam freely throughout my home, but I'm equally happy to follow your dog's usual routine, whether that's crate training, quiet time, scheduled walks or play sessions. My home also has a fully secure, enclosed walled garden where dogs can safely enjoy time outdoors. To ensure every dog receives the attention they deserve, I usually board no more than two dogs at a time. If you have two dogs from the same household, I'd be delighted to accommodate both, and I offer a reduced rate for the second dog. My calendar is flexible. Although some dates may appear unavailable, please do get in touch as I can often accommodate bookings with a little notice. I also offer house sitting, providing your pets with familiar surroundings while you're away. I'll care for your home with the utmost respect and follow your instructions carefully to ensure your pets remain happy, comfortable and safe. Rates may vary depending on the length of your booking, and I'm often happy to offer reduced daily rates for longer stays. Please note that Bank Holiday bookings are charged at £45 per day, and your booking will be adjusted accordingly. Friends and family have always trusted me with their beloved pets, and I genuinely believe dogs are some of life's greatest companions. My priority is always to provide a safe, loving and relaxed environment where your dog feels completely at home. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members soon! Jacqueline

Where your pet will stay
Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
I have a secure back garden. A few yards from my home are many open fields, a beautiful high street. My house is cosy with lost of pet beds. I have cameras set up in my home, such that even when I leave my home for groceries etc, I can keep an eye on your pets in my home.
A typical day
Visit the local park or field for a nice run around. Early morning / late evening walks if the weather is very warm. Dogs will always be on lead initially, but maybe off lead with good recall, but safety always in mind. After the walk we may go to one of the many local dog friendly coffee shops or at home for cuddles on the sofa. Bigger dogs or those that are high energy will get multiple walks. There are plenty of fields nearby to maximise any exercise routines.
