I care for them as you would expect, and as you've communicated to me! I always set up a meet and greet so that we can all get a feel for one another and to get clear about what you're looking for in your sitter. Every owner and every pet is different! I also defer constantly to the notes which owners typically leave for me, covering all the things we had already discussed and maybe some things we hadn't. And if I have a question that needs answering, I'll reach out! I always provide regular updates, including both photos and videos! The first few days I make an extra point of it, and depending on how long the vacation is, and of course, the preferences of the owners - I try to also juggle a sensitivity to allowing your vacation to be without excessive updates, dragging their minds back home before it's time! I am *always* happy to provide an update on-demand, if you're just wondering, or just want to see your babies. I totally get it.

Jackson is the best! This was our first time using Jackson as a sitter and we will definitely be working with him again. He made himself available twice before the actual booking date (first for an initial meeting and then a second time to visit the house before we left). Our dog, Nellie, just absolutely loves him. We just recently went through some scary medical issues with her and this was our first time leaving her since a major surgery, and she now takes medication twice daily. Jackson immediately put us at ease and checked in regularly with photos and quick updates. When we got back, we could barely tell he had been there except for the bed sheets already drying in the dryer! On top of being a responsible and caring dog sitter, Jackson is just a kind, compassionate and thoughtful person. We’ve enjoyed getting to know him and feel grateful we’ve found someone we trust with our girl.
Jackson is a kind, compassionate human being who loves dogs. Our dog was quite happy with him. I also appreciated how he was actually at our house, caring for our dog. Not all sitters do that. My only suggestion, which is why I scored him a 4, is to communicate better with pet parents. A morning and an evening text with a picture would be helpful. However, I highly recommend him to anyone who wants their pets well-cared for.
Jackson stayed in our home to care of our senior dogs over a four-day weekend. He sent updates with pictures or videos daily. We came home to happy dogs and a clean house that had been treated with respect. We will definitely book with him again.
Jackson is kind and calm and the perfect match for my pups. He went above and beyond to ensure my time away was worry free. I will ask for his help again!

Jackson was absolutely wonderful with our very anxious dog. His communication was excellent and we appreciated the daily updates and videos. Our house was left in perfect condition and we will most definitely use Jackson again in the future.

Schedule
This is my only source of income right now and so it will always be my priority and focus. I constantly hear from owners that they've worked with sitters in the past who are out all day, every day. I lean strongly towards the opposite, and we can absolutely talk about it. I typically only leave for a trip to the grocery store, a friend's birthday - nothing regular, or long.

- I always ask about any special needs, whether dietary, exercise or medication related. Any beloved routines or regular habits. I try to get an idea as to how your pet normally spends their day, so that we can keep them on track and living their usual best, until you get home. I also ask about any bad habits that I should be on the lookout for, such as the common "anything left on the ground is going to be destroyed, so don't leave anything on the floor" =) You know your pet and their needs, so I will listen patiently to everything I can absorb ahead of time.
