My husband and I run our own business from home so are flexible, and are happy to follow your pets usual routines. If your pet loves visitors they will love meeting our friends, or if they prefer the quiet life we take some time out from socialising and enjoy the peace with them.

We live in a two story house with a small enclosed garden. Opposite our home is a large lawn perfect for dog walks and at the bottom of our road is a beach. If you're happy for your pet to be allowed on furniture I love nothing more than cuddling up with a dog watching TV together having a fuss. We're also happy to stay in the pets home if they're more comfortable in familiar surroundings. We are based in Dawlish, South Devon for long stayes (a week or over) we are happy to travel any distance but for short stays we tend to stay within a 30-45 minutes drive.

Information Holly C. would like to know about your pet
I have experience with dogs and cats of all different breeds and personalities. Just like us each pet has their own personality and quirks which is one of the best things about them. To help us make sure your pet has the best care possible please let me know their likes/dislikes, routines, how they interact with other people and animals etc.

Having cared for dogs between 5 weeks old right upto 13 years old my husband and I are happy to go with the flow. With younger or high energy dogs we absolutely love a mad half an hour running around and playing with toys. I'm always looking to expand my knowledge around animal care. We've learnt different techniques to exercise dogs brains which is just as important as exercising them physically. We use a combination of scent training, snuffle mats and slow feeding to stimulate dogs brains and make treats rewarding and fun. This is brilliant for building a bond, relieving stress and keeping your dog calm and happy. With older or more chilled out dogs my favourite thing is snuggling up on the sofa having a fuss and watching TV. We live opposite a large green area and have a sofa in our bay window that dogs always love watching out of to see the people and dogs going past. The green area is perfect for small dog walks and if they like to go further we have so many fabulous routs through fields or woodlands. If they like to swim we have a river a few minutes walk in one direction and the beach a few minutes walk in the other direction.

Pet care experience
Since I was a child I've helped care for my grandparents dog, and several families in our village entrusted me with caring for their cats for many years. When I was 5 we brought a rabbit who we were lucky enough to have for 12 years who I cared for. At age 17 my Dad and I got our first dog, a 5 week old white German Shepherd called Kai. Aswell as the usual feeding/walking/grooming and experience of puppy care; Kai has lots of medical conditions so I'm experienced in ear cleaning, and giving medications. I worked as a bird of prey carer for three years and gained a great deal of animal care knowledge. My husband Giles previously had three dogs and a giant rabbit so shares my love of animals. When we met he had an 8 year old staffy who we spoilt rotten until we unfortunately lost her recently at age 13. We miss having a dog to spoil and love so really enjoy helping care for other people's pets.

Absolute Perfection - Willow’s new Home Away from Home! Holly and Giles are simply the best dog sitters you could wish for. We were incredibly nervous about leaving our 12-month-old Golden Retriever puppy for the first time, especially having only had her since she was 7 months old. However, from the moment we met Holly and Giles for a meet-and-greet, all our anxieties vanished. They were friendly, welcoming, and professional, knowing exactly how to make a dog feel comfortable. Willow was smitten immediately, and we walked away knowing we had found a very special couple perfect for looking after her. During our first settling-in session, it was clear that Willow was going to be well looked after. The photos we received proved that Hollie and Giles give back as much love as a puppy has to give! Willow then stayed for two nights, and throughout this time, we received updates and photos, knowing she was in safe hands. Hollie and Giles are everything you could wish for when entrusting your "fur baby" to professional dog sitters. We have no hesitation in recommending them and are now looking forward to our holiday abroad, safe in the knowledge that Willow is going to be loved and cared for by two wonderful people.

Absolutely amazing couple - our family dog ended up being more demanding and needy due to his age and sassiness 🫣 but Holly has been great and I received daily updates with photos!! It’s a first time we used a boarding service and I couldn’t be happier - thank you

We really couldn’t have asked for better cat sitters than Holly and Giles. We felt completely reassured knowing our rather nervous kitty was in such kind, capable and thoughtful hands. They kept us updated while we were away and clearly treated Olive with genuine care and affection rather than it just being a job. The fact that she joined them on the sofa for cuddles was a miracle! Coming home to an obviously happy, relaxed cat and the house so well looked after gave us complete peace of mind and meant we could properly enjoy our time away without worrying. We’re incredibly grateful to Holly and Giles and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for trustworthy, caring and professional pet sitters. Thank you so much!!!! 🐱💖🥰🐾🐾

We couldn't be happier with Holly and Giles and their dog sitting over four days. During the meet and greet, before accepting the request, they instantly hit it off with our dog and were very thorough with questions abouts our dog's needs and routines. Holly was always quick to respond to messages and sent us pictures and videos during the actual dog sitting. As well as treating our dog with respect, it was clear they also treated our house with respect during their stay.
