I work a traditional 9–5 job, but I work from home three days a week and have weekends free, which gives me flexibility to help with your pet’s needs. I live in a pet-friendly apartment community with access to several great dog parks, including beautiful Azalea Park right behind my complex, which is perfect for walks, playtime, and exploring. I have plenty of room for a crate if your dog prefers one, or a cozy bed and lots of cuddles if that’s more their style! I also have a car and am happy to take pups who enjoy car rides on little adventures. Staying active is one of my favorite things, so whether your dog enjoys leisurely walks, long walks, jogging, or even keeping pace while I rollerblade, I’ll make sure they get plenty of exercise, enrichment, and attention. I love spending time outdoors in the neighborhood and along the waterfront, and I’d be thrilled to have a furry companion join me! 🐾❤️

Animals bring me so much joy, and making sure they’re happy, comfortable, and engaged is always my top priority. Every pet is different, so I like to tailor activities to their personality and energy level. For dogs, that might mean walks, playtime, fetch, tug-of-war, training games, or simply exploring new sights and smells. Daily exercise is important, but I also know how hot it can get, so I make sure pets have plenty of indoor enrichment too. Puzzle toys, treat games, play sessions, and one-on-one attention are great ways to keep them mentally stimulated when it’s too warm to be outside. For cats, I love interactive play, wand toys, enrichment activities, and, of course, giving them affection on their terms. Whether your pet is energetic and adventurous or prefers a calmer pace, I’ll make sure they get plenty of attention, stimulation, and love while you’re away. 🐾❤️

I’ve been an animal lover for as long as I can remember, and what matters most to me is always a pet’s safety, comfort, and routine. I started fostering rescue dogs with my family at around age 10, and over the years I’ve helped care for hundreds of dogs of all ages and temperaments, including puppies who needed structure, training, and extra patience. I grew up as the neighborhood dog walker and cat sitter, and in high school I worked at a doggy daycare where I helped manage up to 20 dogs at a time, gaining experience with group dynamics, energy management, and safety monitoring. I’m comfortable with small, medium, and large dogs, as well as cats with very different personalities - from social and playful to shy or anxious. I especially enjoy working with nervous or timid pets who need a calm, gentle approach to feel safe. As a pet parent myself, I understand how important trust and communication are. I currently have a cat of my own, and I treat every pet I care for as if they were part of my family. I look forward to giving your pet reliable, attentive care - and keeping you updated every step of the way 🐾

Helen is a caring and responsible person who loves animals. She has been walking our dogs and staying overnight with them for years and we can always count on her to make sure they are well taken care of. She is reliable and a joy to have around.
Helen has helped me out with all of my pets for years. She is happy to walk the dogs, play with them, make sure they have fresh water and they love her! She helps with the cats by cleaning the litter boxes and making sure the "cat area" is fresh and clean. Helen has a background as a caregiver at a doggie daycare, so she can handle all types of dogs and takes direction well.
