Dogs have pretty much been part of my life forever! I’ve had animals my whole life, worked at a kennel when I was younger, and have experience caring for dogs with all kinds of personalities and needs. Now that I’m home full-time, your dog won’t be spending the day wondering when their human is coming back—I’m here to provide plenty of attention, potty breaks, playtime, cuddles, and supervision. Bonus cuddles for your pets when my teenagers and husband are home! We also have a fully fenced yard for safe outdoor play and a resident beagle who is always happy to make a new friend (even though he’s VERY vocal about meeting new friends at first!)! I know every dog is different, and I’m happy to follow your routines and preferences, whether you have an energetic pup who needs lots of play, a puppy still working on good habits, or a senior dog who prefers a slower pace and extra TLC. My goal is to make your dog feel safe, comfortable, loved, and like they’re on their own little vacation while you’re away.

Heather and family did a great job boarding our pooch. She was responsible and treated her like a member of the family. This was our first time boarding our active and nervous pup and she made both us feel at ease and kept us updated daily.

Schedule
I was recently laid off from teaching, so I have a very flexible schedule and am home throughout most of the day. This allows me to provide plenty of attention, potty breaks, playtime, walks, and companionship for the pets in my care. I’m also available throughout the week and can be flexible with drop-off and pick-up times when needed.

Safety, trust & environment
Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities! I have an 8-year-old Beagle who does well with other dogs, and introductions will always be handled carefully to make sure everyone is comfortable. My home has a large, securely fenced yard where dogs can safely play, explore, and get those zoomies out! Because I’m home throughout most of the day, pets will have plenty of supervision, attention, potty breaks, playtime, and opportunities for rest and relaxation. I’ll also follow your instructions regarding feeding, medications, routines, and any other needs that help your pet feel comfortable and at home. My goal is for you to feel confident knowing your pet is safe, cared for, and maybe even a little spoiled while you’re away!

From tail wags in the morning to cozy cuddles at night, a day with me is all about keeping your pet happy, loved, and on their routine. We play, walk, nap (together if allowed!), and of course—snack responsibly. You’ll get daily updates, cute pics, and peace of mind knowing your furry friend is in good hands and great company!
