I’ve cared for dogs and cats my whole life, from playful pups to gentle seniors. I’m reliable, flexible, and treat every pet like my own - making sure they feel safe, loved, and never lonely. ------ I've been caring for pets professionally for the past couple of years often in tandem with my girlfriend, Florence (who is also on Rover). Whether old or young, timid or bold, I focus on making every animal feel safe and comfortable. I treat every pet as if they were my own: giving them the right balance of playtime, walks, rest, and attention. I’m reliable, punctual, and flexible, happy to work around your pet’s routine and your schedule. From energetic park walks to quiet companionship at home, I adapt to each animal’s needs. I’m also experienced with feeding, administering basic medication, and caring for pets that need a little extra support, including those who can’t manage stairs. My goal is simple: to make sure your pet feels happy, cared for, and never lonely while you’re away.

Harry and Floz were amazing with Freddie. We’re always a little nervous when leaving Fred as he can get anxious in new places but we were put at ease straight away..they were both externally friendly and embraced Fred for his goofy excitedness. We were sent plenty of updates and photos and Freddie seemed to feel right at home! We’ve already got him rebooked with them both and I’m sure Fred’s looking forward to his next stay.
One of our dogs is diabetic and so needs injecting every day and that little bit extra care, Harry was great with her and from all the updates he gave us while we were away it was clear both my dogs were living their best life! Harry was really personable and flexible meeting us beforehand which gave us confidence he was the right person for us. Can definitely recommend and will be our go to person for caring for our dogs in the future. Thank you Harry!
Harry and his girlfriend Florence did an absolutely brilliant job of taking care of my two cockapoos. They were walked, fed, watered and made to feel comfortable in their home. Regular photo updates were a nice touch and I was particularly reassured to know my dogs seemed happy and relaxed. Highly recommend! Harry regularly pet sits our cats when we’re on holiday or away from home. We totally trust him to stay at our house and make sure they are well looked after. He’s super reliable, leaves the place impeccably clean (sometimes cleaner than we leave it!) and is a lovely guy to deal with. We have referred him to a number of friends and would highly recommend.
Harry has looked after my two ragdolls many times when I have been on holiday. Harry always takes the time to send pictures and videos of them eating and playtime to curb my anxieties. It’s also plain to see that Harry is an animal lover and is very playful with my cats, making it very easy to trust him! I always come home to very happy cats and a very clean and tidy house! Right now I have plenty of time in my schedule, so I’m available for pet care most days and times. I usually do sittings and walks with my girlfriend, Florence (who also has a Rover profile), so your pet often gets the benefit of two friendly faces instead of one. We’re flexible, reliable, and happy to work around your pet’s usual routine.

In my home, pets are welcome to make themselves completely comfortable: sofas, beds, and cosy corners included. We have plenty of space, with parks and countryside just outside for energetic dogs who love long walks, and a peaceful, comfy environment for pets who prefer to relax. Cats are kept safe indoors with plenty of spots to explore or curl up in. When caring for pets in an owner’s home, I’m respectful of your space and your rules. I follow your pet’s routine closely, keep their environment safe, and make sure they always feel secure and cared for. Whether it’s a big adventure outside or a quiet day at home, I adapt to each pet’s needs.

A typical day is all about keeping your pet happy and engaged. We’ve got plenty of toys and space for indoor play, plus a park right outside for quick walks and games. Savile Park Moor is just up the road, and the Calder Valley offers endless scenic walks for dogs who love exploring. There’s always time for cuddles, rest, and whatever else your pet needs to feel content and cared for 😊

- It’s really helpful to know as much as possible about your pet before we start, so I can give them the best care. Please let me know about: • Any medical needs, including medication and how it should be given • How they are with other dogs, cats, or people • Their comfort with stairs or any mobility issues • Feeding times, portion sizes, and any dietary restrictions • Toilet routine and any training cues you use • Favourite activities, toys, or games! • Any behaviours or triggers I should be aware of (e.g. barking at the postman, anxiety in certain situations) The more I know about their routine, likes, and needs, the more I can make sure they feel happy, safe, and right at home.
