Since providing pet related services is my full-time profession, my schedule is built around the dedicated care of my clients and their pets. I keep a detailed calendar, but I also understand that flexibility is a necessity. My clients' needs can shift rapidly, and my routine is designed to adapt to those situations efficiently. Strict Timing for Core Needs: Specific feeding times, medication windows, and walking routines are prioritized to happen on time. No Excessive Absences: I am fully focused on providing quality care for your pets. Since I do not have to report to a normal 9-5 job, I am able to give your pets the time and attention they deserve. When you book with me, you don't just get someone willing to do the job; you get a professional who is passionate about providing top-tier services.

Safety, trust & environment
In My Home (Boarding) Location & Yard: Near downtown Ludington and Cartier Park. My home is located on a standard-sized city lot with a secure 4 foot fence. Controlled Environment: My home is a cozy and quiet, adult only bungalow (only myself and one other adult female live in the home). Health & Safety: All guest dogs must be fully vaccinated and current on flea/tick prevention. Advanced Yard Sanitation: Outdoor areas are sanitized using the professional-grade Wysiwash system to eliminate pathogens like Parvo, Giardia, and hookworm. Built-In Companion: I have one friendly, 50lb neutered male dog living in the home. Home Comforts: Dogs are welcome on the furniture, but only if allowed by your specific house rules. In Your Home (Walking & Sitting) Safety & Security: I actively scan for any hazards while ensuring all entryways, doors, and gates are locked. Focused Walks: I provide structured, fully engaged walks to prevent negative encounters. I always wear a high-visibility safety vest, carry a specialized pet first aid kit, and ensure all waste is correctly cleaned up and disposed of. Health Inspections: Leveraging my grooming background, I regularly check paws, coat, and body language to catch any early signs of stress or discomfort. Property Respect: Your home is treated with respect and left exactly as you left it (or better). In any setting, you receive clear communication and the peace of mind that comes with a fully insured, emergency-trained professional.

Information HANNAH J. would like to know about your pet
To ensure your pet feels secure and cared for, I find it helpful to understand their unique needs. Please share any details regarding: Medical & Health History: Ongoing health conditions, allergies, or specific medication schedules. Behavioral Needs: How your pet reacts to other dogs, strangers, loud noises, or being left alone. Training & Boundaries: Any commands they know, triggers that cause stress, or specific house rules. Daily Routine: Your pet’s typical feeding schedule, preferred walking pace, and favorite ways to be rewarded or comforted. Having this information upfront allows me to provide the care and routine they are used to at home.
A typical day
For every pet in my care, I follow the routine and instructions provided by the owner. Once those core needs are met, I prioritize emotional and physical enrichment tailored to your pet's personality and physical abilities. I make sure to get preapproval from pet owners for any activities not specifically requested. For energetic pets, I offer daily walks or hikes, leash training, and dedicated fetch sessions. During warmer months, we can even head to the dog beach for some supervised swimming. I understand that not every dog wants an exciting day. If your pet prefers a quieter experience, I am more than happy to provide physical touch, quality time in the yard, or simply serve as a cozy partner for lounging. My goal is to provide a balanced, stress-free day that respects your pet’s individual preferences.

First Responder Background: As a former paramedic and firefighter, I bring a high level of situational awareness, hazard recognition, and emergency readiness to my pet care. I have a college-level education in anatomy, physiology, and medication administration. Reviews

Hannah was wonderful! She had recently updated her availability calendar, and replied promptly to my inquiry. At the meet & greet she reviewed the details thoroughly, and then maintained great communication all during our time away. She even went above & beyond and checked the mail! She sent pictures of our dog, and they got along well. We were very pleased with Hannah, and would not hesitate to request her again!

Hannah took excellent care of our puppy! We will book again.
Hannah handled my pug with excellent grace and patience. Olive (my pug) loves to keep you guessing on walks and Hannah was patient and embraced the chaotic paths that Olive chose. She reported lots of sniffs, wiggles, and that she was able to keep her in check when other dogs approached. I would trust Hannah woth my dog any day.
