Availability
I am currently not working full-time as I am chronically ill and disabled. I am still able to get around as needed, but enjoy the flexibility of pet-sitting. Most of the time, if you need me to come check on your pet I can come right away!

About Grace S.
Communication
Safety, trust & environment
I am extremely good with animal body-language so I am a great option for anyone with shy/scared cats. I like to give cats their space initially to let them get used to me and my presence. Unless they’re very friendly, then we dive right into pets and play! I am happy to just sit and hang with kitties, feed and water them, play, and clean litter boxes.
Information Grace S. would like to know about your pet
Let me know if your cat has any special requirements as far as medicine or any other treatments and I’ll be happy to work with you and the kitty!
A typical day
For cats I like to follow their signals for what they want to do. Treats and playing are often the first step for building a relationship with cats that are a little shy and wary of me. Cuddles and pets are only given to kitties who give me all-okay cues. I also like putting on cat TV or creating home made puzzles for enrichment.

Cat care experience
Having grown up “the cat lady” to my friends and family, I have always had a unique bond with kitties. I grew up with two childhood cats and have since had three cats as an adult, each loved to the moon and back. I understand cat’s “language” and know when to give them their space as well as when to give them pets or kind words. I frequently sit my friends’ cats and have a kitty of my own named Finn. My goal is to meet all the kitties of Philly!
Reviews

Grace was wonderful! She took the time to do a meet and greet beforehand which was much appreciated. She was on time for every check-in and gave regular updates. She made sure our cat got plenty of play time and pets. Thank you Grace!

Grace is a wonderful cat sitter!

Grace is excellent at what she does and I will forever be grateful for the care she provides my cat, Pop, when I’m unable to be home

Grace is super caring and extra patient! She is always my #1 cat-sitting person!!
