As a homeschooling mom, pet care is naturally woven into my daily and weekly routine, allowing me to provide consistent, attentive care throughout the day. My schedule is already centered around being home, which means the dogs in my care are never left alone for long periods and are included in a calm, structured household rhythm.

Safety, trust & environment

Your dog's safety is my highest priority. For care in your home, I like to follow the routines you have established with your dog so they remain comfortable in my care while in a familiar environment. For boarding in my home, I begin by giving your dog time to adjust to me, my family, our home, our pets, and any other pets we may be caring for at the time. This allows them to relax, feel safe, and truly enjoy their stay. I require all new clients to complete a Meet & Greet before booking. Meet & Greets take place at a local park or another neutral location instead of my home. This allows dogs to meet in a calm, non-territorial environment and helps ensure we're a good fit for one another. For boarding stays of five nights or longer, I require a one-night trial stay before the scheduled reservation. This helps your dog become familiar with my home and routine while giving us the opportunity to make sure everyone is comfortable before a longer stay. My home features a securely fenced yard where dogs can run, play, and explore. All outdoor playtime is supervised to ensure every dog stays safe while having fun. At bedtime, all boarding dogs sleep comfortably in their individual crates. Crating overnight helps provide a calm, secure environment, keeping every dog safe while everyone is sleeping.

Information Grace D. would like to know about your pet

Before your dog's stay, I like to learn as much as possible about them. Please let me know: -Their feeding schedule and any dietary restrictions or allergies. -Current medications or health concerns. -Their comfort level around other dogs, children, and cats. -Any fears, anxieties, or behaviors that may require extra attention. -If your dog is working on any training. -Whether they're crate trained and comfortable sleeping in a crate overnight. -Favorite toys, treats, commands, and anything else that helps them feel at home. The more I know ahead of time, the better I can provide a safe, enjoyable, and personalized experience for your furry family member.

A typical day

Each dog’s routine is kept as consistent as possible with what they’re used to at home. Meals are served on their regular schedule according to your instructions, followed by supervised outdoor potty breaks and playtime spaced throughout the day. Between homeschool lessons, household activities, and scheduled dog walking or drop-in visits for regular clients, I build in time for enrichment, affection, and one-on-one attention so every dog feels included and cared for. Because I intentionally limit the number of dogs I accept at one time, I’m able to maintain a peaceful environment where each guest receives individualized care and close supervision. This also allows me to comfortably balance boarding dogs with my regular walking and drop-in clients without ever compromising attention, safety, or quality of care. Throughout the day, dogs enjoy a natural home setting with a steady rhythm of activity and rest; whether that’s joining us during quiet homeschool time, going outside for breaks and play, or settling in for naps between outings. My goal is always to make each dog feel secure, loved, and right at home while fitting seamlessly into the flow of our family’s daily life.

Safe, Structured & Loving Care

Pet care experience

I've had the privilege of caring for dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities—from small companion breeds like Lhasa Apsos to giant breeds such as Bullmastiffs. I understand that every dog is unique, and I take the time to learn their routine, temperament, and preferences so they feel comfortable and secure while in my care. Whether your dog is energetic and playful or prefers a quiet place to relax, my goal is to provide a safe, structured, and loving environment where they feel right at home.
