Services
Grace can care for
Availability
I am a student so please be mindful of my schedule - I am most usually available for advanced bookings. I will be traveling occasionally, as well as have school commitments, so communication is key with determining a plan and schedule. All walks and drop in visits are 25 minutes unless stated otherwise. All in home overnight care requires advanced booking - be mindful that with my own pets at home, house sitting is not 24/7 care. My house sitting commitment is anywhere from 14-16 hours of care in your home over a 24 hour period, either including or not including an overnight as discussed with you for your pet's needs. This is to be understood as my services prior to booking.

About Grace B.
Communication
Dog skills
Safety, trust & environment
I have two golden retrievers (male) that are available for playdates if your dog is comfortable and enjoys playing with other dogs. I am more than comfortable walking multiple dogs on leashes and following any protocols that you already have in place (leashed walks, crating, backyard time, etc.)
Information Grace B. would like to know about your pet
I always ask for more information than less - tell me everything you’d like me to know about your pet. After all, you dog/cat is a member of your family so I want to give them the same level of care and attention that I would give my own animal and family. Please share if your dog is friendly with other dogs, is neutered/spayed, if your dog enjoys walks on leashes or prefers free running, if you dog has a history of aggression, and if your dog is on any medications or has any allergies (food or environmental). Thank you!
A typical day
I make sure that all of the dogs I walk are properly rewarded if they behave, including giving small training treats for good behavior along the walk. I always try to walk on sidewalks near the homes of my clients, but if that is not possible, and if the paw-rents allow, we may visit the dog beach or a dog park.

Passionate Veterinary Student @ UGA
Pet care experience
I am currently a veterinary student at UGA. I worked as a veterinary assistant over the last 12 months prior to veterinary school. With the vet clinics I have worked at I have been responsible for aiding the veterinarian with care as well as boarding, feedings, and baths. I am more than comfortable with senior pets, animals with special care needs (such as medications and insulin), and well as behaviorally challenging pets.
Reviews

Grace is exceptional! She’s an excellent communicator - reliable and fun to work with. Our cats are noticeably happy, relaxed and playful with her. She also handles their oral medication with ease. We trust Grace completely and feel peace of mind leaving town when she is looking after them. Highly recommend! ☺️

Very communicative. Prompt, and got the job done.

We were able to relax and enjoy a night out. We never worried about our puppy. Grace is experienced and conscientious.

Grace is a blessing. Highly recommended!!!! The dogs absolutely love her.
