🐾 Experienced Dog Sitter 🐾
I’m a dog lover based in Glasgow Southside, living with my husband and my 7 year old Cockapoo, Grace. I’ve been caring for dogs my whole life, both my own and those of friends and family, and that experience has shaped my calm, reliable and attentive approach to pet care. I first signed up as a Rover sitter while living in Copenhagen where I built up a lovely group of regular clients and provided weekly afternoon walks, drop-in visits and boarding, caring for dogs of all ages, breeds and personalities. I loved getting to know each dog individually and becoming a trusted part of their routine and am looking forward to doing the same here now that I’m back home in Glasgow. I’ve cared for dogs ranging from playful puppies to sleepy seniors and have experience with a wide variety of temperaments and needs. I’m also qualified in canine first aid, giving me the knowledge and confidence to respond appropriately in the unlikely event of an emergency. As a dog owner myself, I understand the trust involved in leaving your beloved pet with someone else. I take pride in offering professional, compassionate and personalised care. I currently work part-time from home which gives me the flexibility to provide dog walking, drop-in visits and boarding, with plenty of attention, exercise, cuddles and company throughout the day.

Gill was excellent and put our minds at rest every step of the way. We had an initial meeting with Gill and her lovely, cuddly, and VERY friendly dog, Grace, before our holiday. It went very well and we felt confident we had chosen the right person to look after our girl. When we were on holiday, we had regular communication, updates and photos and we knew our girl was in safe hands. It looked like she was having a great time out on walks with Grace and getting lots of cuddles and attention. Would recommend Gill in a heartbeat.
Thanks for minding Ollie as a trial overnight before our main holiday. The photos in the park were great and glad to hear he was following your husband around all day- obviously made a friend!

Gill had Coco for a week and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. Gill was welcoming, professional and reliable. I had regular pictures of Coco which I had requested. I felt comfortable leaving Coco since I could see that Gill’s dog Grace was already well cared for and loved. I’m really grateful for the level of care that Coco received and hope to bring her back again soon!
Coco had a great sleepover with Gill. I was kept updated regularly which I had requested and Coco came home well looked after. Gill’s dog Grace is a sweetheart also!
Gill was a fantastic sitter for our 11 week puppy Rollo. We were nervous about our first time leaving him for an evening and she was professional & kind, and Rollo had loads of fun with her. Would definitely book again. Thanks Gill!

Schedule
I work part-time (weekday mornings) from home meaning I can offer lots of attention, playtime and cuddles through the day. My afternoons, evenings and weekends are flexible.

Safety, trust & environment
I live in a ground floor flat with access to a shared garden, perfect for quick outdoor breaks. I’m also just a short walk away from Linn Park, Queens Park and Kings Park, and also often take trips to the beach (Grace’s favourite!!!) Your dog is welcome to make themself at home on the sofa or by my side, but there’s also a quiet separate room if they prefer their own space. We also have a puppy gate if needed, ensuring a calm and secure environment for everyone.

A typical day
We will go on a variety of enriching walks from local neighbourhood streets and parks to forests and beaches with lots of different smells. Lots of cuddles, playing and fun!
