Hi! I’m Georgia and I been caring for dogs for as long as I can remember, and I’ve always had a deep passion for helping both dogs and kids. While my professional path led me to work with children, as a school psychologist with Sarasota County Schools, I make it a priority to spend as much time with dogs as possible outside of work. I’ve volunteered with several animal shelters, walking dogs of all sizes (from 6-pound pups to 100-pound gentle giants) and across all life stages, from brand-new puppies to senior dogs. I also have my own mini Goldendoodle named Peach, who I have independently taken care of since I was 18 years old.

I am committed to caring for your pup in the place they’re most comfortable- their own home and neighborhood. I follow all owner instructions carefully, including leash preferences, walking routes, routines, feeding or medication needs, and any training cues you use. Your dog’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I am also very attentive to dog body language and behavior, and I tailor each walk or visit to your dog’s individual personality, energy level, and needs. Having a dog of my own, Peach, who is shy around other dogs, has made me especially mindful of reading signs of stress or discomfort, creating positive experiences even if that means going out of the way to avoid others, and advocating for a dog’s space when needed. I’m reliable, communicative, and detail-oriented. I’ll keep you updated with notes and photos after each walk or drop-in so you can feel confident and at ease while you’re away. Whether your dog loves long, active walks or prefers a slower pace with plenty of sniff time, I’m happy to adjust to what works best for them.

Georgia is the best! My parents needed a walker for our Lagotto (45 pounds and a love for pulling), and he immediately responded well to Georgia. He can be a bit confrontational with other dogs, but she keeps him focused and he’s even become more keen to meeting new friends! She’s our walker whenever the time comes, and Marco couldnt be happier.

Georgia is THE BEST with taking care of pets! She has the biggest heart for animals and frequently volunteers at animal rescue centers. She has watched my doodle for an entire day and he was the happiest boy when I came home. When I ask her to quickly walk him, she stays hours with him and makes sure that he is okay. I couldn’t recommend someone more, Georgia is the biggest animal lover!

Schedule
As mentioned, I am a school psychologist within public schools so I have June and July off! Therefore, my schedule is wide open to care for your pups! I am flexible driving around the Sarasota area to drop-in/walk your animals at any time of day. I am also available on weekends regularly.
