If you’re heading away and don’t want the stress of kennels, I’d love to welcome your dog into my home where they’ll be safe, relaxed, and treated like one of my own 🐾 I live with my 3 young children and our friendly 8-year-old Cavapoo, Buddy, who absolutely loves having canine company. Because this is a busy family home, it’s essential that any visiting dog is comfortable and familiar around children. My children will never be left unsupervised with any dog, and all interactions are always closely managed and calm. I’ve had dogs for many years and also regularly dog-sat for family, so I understand how important it is to keep your dog’s routine, comfort, and wellbeing consistent while you’re away. I have a large fully enclosed garden and live very close to beautiful countryside walks, parks, and open fields, perfect for plenty of fresh air and exercise. Your dog will have free roam of the house and is very welcome on the furniture if that’s what they’re used to at home. I currently work from home, so your dog won’t be left alone for long periods and will get lots of company, attention, and reassurance throughout the day. I only accept one dog at a time (to ensure plenty of care and attention), and because Buddy is small, I can only accept small to medium-sized dogs. I always try to keep your dog’s normal routine as closely as possible, and I’ll happily send regular updates and photos so you can relax while you’re away. It is essential that owners provide their own food, to keep your dog’s diet consistent and avoid any tummy upsets. You’re also welcome to bring toys and anything else that helps them feel at home. I do prefer to arrange a meet and greet before confirming bookings so we can make sure it’s the right fit for everyone, but I understand that’s not always possible, so do feel free to message me.
