Safety, trust & environment
In a client's home, I treat it like my own. Clean and tidy. Playing happens outside in the yard or in a park. I will pick up your dogs daily routine right where you left off to cause the least amount of stress as possible. If your furry friend needs a crate I am also fine putting them there. Just want to be that helping hand that passes the time until they have you back.
Information Gavin P. would like to know about your pet
How is your pets temperament? Medical issues or allergies? What is the daily routine like? How long can they be left alone? Anything else you feel is important to know.
A typical day
Keeping pets busy with walks, runs, and playtime is very important. If your dog or cat is able to, I am ready for it all! If your dog is social and likes time around town I am also able to do that. Really, anything you normally do I am willing to continue to make your pet feel their best.

I'll keep their tails wagging
Pet care experience
I grew up with dogs in the family and for the past two years I've regularly taken care of a Bernese Mountain Dog. Given medications, exercised, and fed for up to a week at a time. I understand how dogs are part of the family and how hard it can be to leave them behind. Feeling confident in the person who is taking care of that family member is key. If you let me, I can be that person!

Reviews

Gavin was great! My cats are notoriously shy with new people. Gavin made the effort to find them in their hiding spots to make sure they were okay and then gave them their space to let them warm up on their own terms. I felt very comfortable leaving my cats in Gavin’s care and would love for him to watch them again.

Gavin did a great job watching both my cat and dog. He followed instructions closely and was super responsive.

Gavin took care of my very spoiled pittie mix for the first time this week. Everything went well...no sad faces in the photos (yes she does pout) and a happy dog when I got home. I'm happy too!

Gavin is a repeat sitter for my 6 year old orange tabby. Once again, communications were excellent and he took good care of my cat and my house. Gavin always spends time with his charge, as Moo is a sociable creature who loves companionship. I booked time that coincided with the recent blizzard. Gavin was completely flexible with potential changes to my travel plans, which i truly appreciated. Moo and I look forward to reaching out to him for future bookings.
