Your Pup Will Be at Home
I had an Australian Shepherd for multiple years, and I've done training from puppy classes, obedience, through even some basic agility (specifically at the Angell Memorial Hospital). I'm fairly active, and I love having a dog around to walk the neighborhood, the Arboretum, Franklin Park and more. I've dealt with reactive dogs, and dogs of various energy and engagement needs.

Garrett was great! He looked after our 55lb dog for a long weekend. When we picked her up she was happy, healthy, and tuckered out - she got lots of activity throughout the weekend with long walks and neighborhood adventures. He kept us apprised while we were away with updates and photos. Would definitely book with Garrett again and highly recommend him.
This was our first time using Garrett to watch our pup and we absolutely would do it again! He was attentive, communicative, and flexible. He also handled our anxious dog excellently, being gentle with her but also making sure she got her exercise and play in. Above all, he treated her like a member of the family.

Garrett was absolutely wonderful with Phuchka! We did a meet and greet before the actual stay, which immediately put our minds at ease; Garrett was so patient and asked all the right questions to get to know Phuchka’s routine. Leaving your dog behind is always a bit stressful, but Garrett made it easy by sending regular updates and photos. It was clear from the pictures that Phuchka was comfortable and having a great time. Garrett is professional, communicative, and clearly a true dog lover. We will definitely be booking with him again!
Garrett is great and has watched my dog Ollie many times. Garrett is always happy to take Ollie on long walks, prepare his slightly complicated meals, and even helped with training when Ollie was a young dog. I'm happy to recommend him to anyone looking for someone to watch their dog.
Garrett's the best! He's both boarded and walked my large black lab, and I couldn't be happier with the care he gives her. He was great about understanding her routine and what her needs would be prior to her stay with him, and he's extremely attentive and great with dogs, our pup loves him. Additionally he was great with communication while I was away which really gave piece of mind while I traveled. Garrett's great with dogs and very professional, I would absolutely recommend him if you're looking for pet sitting or dog walking!

Schedule
I work from home a few days a week, and I have the flexibility to take a few walking breaks during the morning, afternoon and evening. I tend to be a home body, with the exception of errands and the gym, so your pup should have a companion most of the time.

Safety, trust & environment
It's just me and your dog. Your dog can hang with me in my office, can sleep on a mat in my room (I don't generally let dogs in my bed), and we'll do lots of walks, engagement, play and some light training (if you're okay with it). Oh, and of course I'll feed them what and when you want.
Pets
A typical day
I love walking the Arboretum, the pond, franklin park and more. Usually, the first thing I do is go for a short walk then have some coffee and get to work. Then I like another walk some time later in the afternoon. I'm also happy to play tug, fetch, and other engagement activities with your dog. I also like mini training breaks, and I will give out treats as much as you allow :)
