Calm, caring cat sitting
I started cat sitting because I genuinely adore cats and understand how important it is for them to feel safe and settled in their own home. As the owner of four cats (Arnie, Sylvia, Ivy & Mr Worf) I know that every cat has its own personality, routine, and needs. I wanted to offer a service that reflects that same level of care and understanding. What I love most is building trust with each cat, watching their individual character come out, and knowing I’m helping them stay relaxed and content while their owners are away.

I care for pets in their own home, following the owner’s instructions closely to ensure everything is done safely and exactly as requested. Each visit is tailored to the owner’s requirements, including feeding routines, hygiene, and any specific care needs. As a homeowner myself, I fully understand the importance of trust and respect when someone is entering your home. I treat every home as if it were my own, and every cat as if they were mine - carefully, calmly, and responsibly. I take security seriously, ensuring doors are secure and that keys and access details are always handled safely. I’m also attentive to each cat’s wellbeing, making sure they are comfortable, safe, and never placed in a stressful situation. I provide regular updates and photos so owners can feel confident their pets are relaxed and well cared for while they’re away.

Gareth did a great job looking after our cat. He was reliable, easy to communicate with, and clearly comfortable around animals. It was really nice knowing everything was taken care of while we were away.

Tidsplan
Pet care fits very naturally into my routine as I’m self-employed and have a highly flexible schedule. This means I can plan my day around visits and be consistent and reliable with timings. As a cat owner myself, I’m already used to daily routines of feeding, cleaning, and spending quality time with cats, so providing the same level of care for others is a seamless part of my week. I’m also careful not to overbook; if taking on a booking would mean cutting corners, I simply won’t accept it. I’d much rather offer a smaller number of high-quality, unhurried visits where each cat gets the time and attention they deserve.
