Pet care experience
I am a pet lover who has lived with and cared for animals my whole life. Over the years I have had dogs, cats, snakes, chickens, rabbits, a frog, a hedgehog, hamsters, turtles, tortoises, birds… and even a potbelly pig!! I see pets as family members and give them all of the love and care that they deserve, because I know just how special each animal is. As a child I would bathe my grandmothers dogs to earn an allowance, and I have pet sat for my friends for years before joining Rover. Joining Rover just absolutely made sense for me!! I have been on this platform for over a year and have only had good experiences with all of the wonderful pets and humans that I have met here. Many of my clients have rebooked with me several times, and I truly value building a trusting friendship with the people and pets that I work with❤️

I am happy to take dogs on long walks, play fetch, give treats and lots of love. For kitties I love to play and cuddle, and offer treats and catnip if you have them available. For all pets, I will take care of cleaning litter boxes/bathroom areas, as well as feeding per your instructions, and will provide fresh water. I’m happy to hang out and watch a movie with pets so they feel less lonely, and they are welcome to sleep next to me if they wish during overnight stays. Let me know if there’s anything I can do to make your fur baby as happy as possible while you are away!

If they are shy, feel free to inform me of anything I can do to win them over (such as a favorite treat). If they love attention, I would love to know their favorite spot to be pet.
A typical day
A typical day for me would include a nice long walk with some play time to get all the wiggles out, as well as take care of bathroom needs. If there is a park nearby, then we would walk there, or just around the neighborhood if there is no park. If your dog is high energy we can play fetch until they are all tired out. Then we can go home and take care of mealtime and cleaning out water dishes. We can finish the day by cuddling and having some nice one-on-one time so they don’t get lonely while their family is away!

Availability
I work a job as a contractor for about 20 hours per week, and hours are flexible so I can generally adjust my schedule to meet the needs of your pet. Feel free to reach out even if my calendar says I am booked—I will do my best to accommodate! I will be in school on Tuesday/Thursday beginning mid August.
