We’ve both grown up around dogs and they’ve always been a big part of our lives. My partner has had dogs for his whole life for around 25 years, from big dogs to small ones, so caring for dogs is something that’s always come naturally to him. We currently have our 13 year-old rescue Staffy, who my partner adopted when she was just two. Having a rescue dog has really shown us how important patience, trust and taking the time to understand a dog can be. We know that leaving your dog with someone else can be difficult, especially when they’re used to their own home and routine. That’s why we’d be looking after your dog in their own home, where they can stay comfortable and settled while you’re away. We’ll keep to their normal routine as much as possible and give them plenty of walks, attention, cuddles and company. It’ll be both of us looking after your dog, so they’ll have two people around who genuinely love dogs and will treat them as if they were our own. We’ll take the time to get to know them, their personality and what they’re comfortable with, rather than expecting every dog to be the same. For us, it’s really about making sure you can enjoy your time away knowing your dog is safe, happy and being well looked after at home.
