there! I’m a lifelong animal lover and have been a dedicated pet sitter on Rover since 2015. With years of experience, I’m well-versed in caring for pets with various needs, including special care for those who require extra attention. As a responsible and organized sitter, I prioritize creating a safe and comfortable environment for your pet. I take the time to learn your pet’s specific routines and commands to ensure consistency in care. Before our meet and greet, I provide a set of questions to better understand your pet’s personality, including details about their favorite toys, social preferences with other animals and people, feeding habits, and more. I believe preparation is key to providing the best care! I recently moved to Atlanta from Charleston to be closer to my family. I’m looking to build up regular dog sitting clients like I had in Charleston. I’m also job hunting for a remote position. My goal is to spend as much time as possible with your pets, especially during overnight stays, ensuring they feel comfortable and well cared for while you’re away. I prioritize your pet’s safety and well-being by closely following their routine and your house rules. If your pet is used to being crated while alone, I’ll keep that structure in place. If they’re free-roamers, I’ll make sure their environment is secure and calm. In your home, I maintain a clean, respectful space and ensure everything is left as I found it (or better). You’ll get regular updates so you can feel confident your pets are being well cared for while you’re away.

Emmy was absolutely wonderful taking care of Oliver while I was away for the week. From the very beginning, I felt completely comfortable knowing he was in such caring and capable hands. She was attentive, dependable, and genuinely cared about making sure Oliver was happy, comfortable, and well taken care of. What impressed me most was how often Emmy went above and beyond what I expected. It was clear that she wasn’t simply taking care of him, she treated Oliver like he was her own and made sure he received plenty of attention, affection, and care. Being away from your pet can always be a little stressful, but Emmy gave me tremendous peace of mind throughout the entire week. Knowing Oliver was with someone I could trust allowed me to actually enjoy my time away without worrying about him. I came home to a happy and well-cared-for Oliver, which says everything. I’m incredibly grateful for Emmy and would absolutely trust her with Oliver again. Emmy took great care of my demanding senior Weimaraner. She administered twice daily meds, provided enrichment activities, and shared daily updates and photos. Will use her again.

This was our first time using Rover since moving to Charleston and Emmy did an amazing job. She was very thorough during our meet and greet and made sure our pups routine was followed to a T. She also sent us multiple check in photos and updates which made us feel so at ease while we were away. I can’t recommend Emmy enough and will definitely be rebooking with her!

Schedule
I work in an office Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 4 PM, so any pets in my care during the week should be comfortable being home alone for that portion of the day. Before and after work, I’m fully present—providing exercise, meals, playtime, and companionship. On weekends or for overnight stays, I keep a calm, pet-centered routine that ensures your pets feel safe, engaged, and relaxed in their home environment.

- During our meet and greet, I’ll ask about your pet’s routine, feeding schedule, walk preferences, and sleeping arrangements. I also like to learn about their personality—are they shy or social? Do they have any reactivity, separation anxiety, or triggers I should know about? I want to be as prepared as possible to make your pet feel safe and secure, especially while you’re away. Understanding their likes, dislikes, and communication style helps me provide care that’s thoughtful and low-stress.
