I grew up taking care of cats and dogs indoor and outdoor. I'm currently a certified veterinary technician at a general practice but have worked in emergency and specialty services. I have a history of having elderly pets who are in need of daily injections and medication and I'm very comfortable with administering both. I'm very flexible when it comes to payments an hours. I do work Monday through Saturday but I'm off every other Wednesday and Saturday. If possible I will take the first day off of a stay to make sure that pets are comfortable and we get to know each other. I do also like to meet pets ahead of time just to make sure that they feel comfortable with me and I feel comfortable with them.

Safety, trust & environment
I will do not pet sit at my home but at clients home pets are front and center. Weather permitting we do outside play time and or walks. If owners allow I will bring puzzle treats as to keep pets stimulated even if the weather is less than ideal. I make sure I meet with owners ahead of time to make sure I understand it's schedules regiments and the do's and don'ts around making pets feel comfortable in their own home while their parents are away.

Emily is always our first choice when we need someone to pet sit our cats. Our cats are very finicky and Emily is always great about following their routine and giving them the love they need when we are away. She has pet sit for us for quick weekend vacations and even when we went for an extended honeymoon. We are always carefree knowing Emily is taking wonderful care of our furry babies. She even checked in on one of our cats after a slight medical emergency when he needed some additional care during the day.

Schedule
I currently work Monday through Friday and I'm off every other Wednesday and Saturday. The latest I would work would be Monday and Friday which is until 6:00 p.m. I however do usually take the first Monday off that I'm going to be taking care of your pet to make sure that they're comfortable and reduces the amount of time that they are alone.
