I have lots of experience with walking dogs on the street and know to stick to the left side of the road and keep the leash short around cars and other animals. Please let me know if your dog has any special needs, behaviors medications or dietary restrictions I should be aware of. I prefer to know how well trained the dogs I care for are in advance so I can be prepared.
A typical day
I love going on walks and on runs, so depending on your dog’s preference I can do either with them. If they are trained off the leash I will happily play fetch with them at the park as well!

Pet care experience
I have been surrounded by and have taken care of all sorts of animals for as long as I can remember, and ever since my 16th birthday, when I got Sammy, my great white Pyrenees puppy, my love for caring for sweet fur babies has grown. I grew up on a farm and am one of the oldest siblings of a large family, so I learned to be very responsible from a young age. From childhood to my college years and beyond, I have taken care of dogs, cats, horses, fish, goats, and chickens. I am the trusted go to sitter for my friends and family and have taken care of animals with a variety of needs, such as rescue dogs and animals who need medication and/or special diets. I have loved every animal I’ve had the privilege to care for and look forward to meeting your sweet furry (or not furry) friends!

Emily has watched over my families dogs and cats for years now when we go on trips. She is amazing and I never have to worry when I know she’s the one caring for them. Emily goes above and beyond when caring for them. She always sends pictures and follows our directions perfectly. Our dogs are always so excited when they see her and the cats are comfortable enough with her they will come up and lay in her lap! She keeps the house very clean as well and we will always recommend her to anyone who needs a pet sitter.
I highly recommend Emily as a pet sitter! She is detail oriented and caring towards the pets! I have never been happier with her level of care! She is worth every penny!
