Emily Ieva is a lover of animals and gentle carer of pets. From a young age, Emily was drawn to all things animals and, as her lifelong neighbors watching her grow up, we felt comfortable trusting our cats to her care when we went on vacations. She spent a lot of time with them and did a wonderful job because she genuinely loved being in their presence.
Emily is one of the best pet sitters we've ever had! She has cared for our six cats for several years whenever we traveled, and if you know us, you know our cats are our babies. Emily was always dependable, reliable, and completely trustworthy. She took excellent care of all the daily tasks—feeding them, scooping the litter boxes, refreshing their water, and making sure everything was clean and in order—but what truly set her apart was the attention and affection she gave our cats. After taking care of their needs, she would spend time with them, giving them attention and playing with them, instead of simply rushing off to the next visit. It's obvious that Emily truly loves animals. She was also an excellent communicator, sending us updates and photos after each visit, which gave us tremendous peace of mind while we were away. I wholeheartedly recommend Emily to anyone looking for a caring, responsible, and trustworthy pet sitter. We were incredibly fortunate to have her care for our cats, and any family would be lucky to have her care for their pets.

Schedule
I just graduated from college and would love to take care of cats and dogs in the city in the last few months of my lease in California. This gives me a very open and flexible schedule for you and your pets!

Safety, trust & environment
At my college apartment, I don't have any pets. But at home in New Hampshire, I have two cats, one tortoiseshell and a tuxedo boy who are both indoors. I also grew up with a greater swiss mountain dog and took care of her in her senior years. My experiences aside, I understand that every cat family is different and have different values which, as a sitter, I would deeply respect.
A typical day
I love playing with pets! Mental and physical stimulation is really important for cat/dog quality of life, so that is a big focus of mine when sitting. However, I will always assess the current situation to determine if play or stimulation is what your pet needs at that time, or if they just want peace.
