I’ve been caring for pets since I was little, and it’s been a passion of mine for many years. From my own family pets to friends’, clients’, and now as a professional dog groomer, I’ve worked with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. Being a dog groomer has given me an even deeper understanding of animal behavior and how to make pets feel safe and comfortable. I know how to handle high-energy pups, senior dogs, and even those with a little extra sass or shyness. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding, or keeping up with routines, I make sure every pet feels loved and cared for like they’re my own. Your pets will be in great hands with me—I’ll treat them with the same care, patience, and attention that I give my own.

When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I make sure to follow their routine as closely as possible so the pets feel comfortable and secure. I stick to their regular feeding schedule, walk times, and playtime so things stay familiar. I also pay close attention to any special instructions—like medications, grooming needs, or behavior quirks—because every pet is unique. I always give pets plenty of love and attention, whether that’s playing, cuddling, or just keeping them company if they prefer a quieter presence. I keep their space clean, make sure they have fresh water, and check that everything in the home is safe for them. Most importantly, I treat every pet like my own—keeping them happy, safe, and cared for while their owners are away.

We have had Ellie as a pet sitter on several occasions. Weekend stents, evenings and even weeks out of the country. She has always gone above and beyond in our home to not just feed and care for our animals but to spend time with them, brush, play and report to us any concerns and updates that might have been needed. Pictures while we are away for long periods are a plus! She cares for cats, dogs and even the fish. We have added family members dogs to our home on family vacations that have special needs and diets- she accommodates it all! Greatful we have found an honest, compassionate young lady who is clearly an animal lover to care for our fur babies.

Pet care has always been a natural part of my everyday life. Since I’ve been around animals from a young age, I’m used to building my days around their needs—feeding, walking, grooming, playtime, and plenty of love and attention. As a dog groomer, caring for pets is already a big part of my weekly routine, so it easily flows into my personal life as well. I make time every day to be with animals, whether that’s going on walks, giving extra cuddle time, or keeping up with their routines. Because pet care is something I truly enjoy, it never feels like an “extra task”—it’s just part of my lifestyle.

- Before caring for a dog, I like to know as much as possible about their routine and personality so I can keep them comfortable and happy. Some of the most helpful things to know include: • Daily routine – feeding schedule, walk times, bathroom breaks, and any habits they’re used to. • Health needs – medications, allergies, or special dietary restrictions. • Behavior & temperament – how they do with other dogs, cats, kids, or strangers, and any triggers that may make them nervous. • Energy level – do they prefer long walks and lots of play, or are they more laid-back and cuddly? • Training cues – commands they know and respond to, or any areas they’re still working on. • Comforts & dislikes – favorite toys, treats, or activities, and anything they don’t enjoy (like loud noises, nail trims, etc.). The more I know ahead of time, the better I can tailor my care to make sure their dog feels safe, loved, and right at home while their owner is away
