Pet care experience
I have had dogs and cats my whole life and am hoping to work with people to care for their animals. I love all cats and dogs, big and small. I have experience with large dog breeds and special needs cats ie. Diabetic and special foods. Trusting your pet sitter can ease so many worries while you you’re not able to be with your animal. I will provide not only pet care but love and cuddles!!

Elizabeth was a great fit for us when we needed someone to watch our older dogs. Kenneling our dogs for this particular trip (Family Memorial) would have been worrisome as our older dog is almost 15. Elizabeth was great to work with and the ease of use of the platform was helpful during a stressful time away. We loved seeing our fur family especially when our hearts were tender. I highly recommend connecting with Elizabeth should you need a fur friend sitter overnight.

Whether you just need a quick pop-in or someone to stay in your home with your animals, she is always responsible, caring, flexible, and does her very best to make sure your pets are taken care of and loved on while you’re away. She sends updates with pictures, responds promptly, and ensures that she follows any and all instructions left. Elizabeth will not only take great care of your pets’ needs, she’ll be a great buddy for them too!
We’ve had Elizabeth overnight dog-sit for us on several occasions and have always felt at ease knowing our pup is in good hands while we are away. She is a great communicator and we always look forward to the photos and video updates she sends. She is very attentive to all of the instructions and needs of our pet and leaves the house just as we left it. If you are looking for a trustworthy human to look after your best fur friend I highly recommend Elizabeth!

Let me know if my schedule works well for your pets and how I can best support them while you are away. I’ve had all kinds of requests from letting the dog carry a baseball hat on walks to specific treats for morning and evening. Let me know what makes your pet unique and I am happy to accommodate where I can!
A typical day
I adjust my morning schedule to fit the animal I am watching some are early risers and excited for breakfast some like snuggles in bed. I love doing walks with the dogs like enjoy them so they can get sniffs and exercise in. I make sure they have toys or bones that help with enrichment if I am away during the day. A walk and feed in the evening and then nighttime is a great time for play and snuggles to help them get settled for bed.

Availability
I work in Traverse City during the day and would be able to stay in your home to manage your pet’s care to maximize their comfort at home. My work days vary however, on days that I work I can provide morning and evening care. On my off days I can be available all day.
