Information Elizabeth J. would like to know about your pet

Please let me know early on if your dog has special needs to account for, such as: medications, allergies, disabilities. This way I can be better prepared for your dog’s needs.

A typical day

I prefer to stick to schedules provided by the owner so that the dog can acclimate smoothly. We relax, have brush time, go for walks, and take pics too! There’s a little lake behind the home, and it’s always fun walking around it.

Loving pet sitter for hire!!!

Pet care experience

I’m a dog enthusiast with 2 friendly basset hounds of my own (they will always be supervised during any time together). I’ve cared for dogs nearly all my life, raising them from 8wks old, with my oldest reaching nearly 15 yrs, and could never see myself without them. So regardless of if your pupper is on the younger or older side, I have plenty of experience caring for that age group. Just being able to share kindness & love with pets is something I’m passionate about, and it would be my pleasure to help provide for your fur-baby as well! Set-up: I have large (48”) wire crates available, along with some (24”) crates if your pup is on the smaller side. There is also a large penned off area (indoor), however the pets will have access to the living-room and kitchen areas on the first floor, not to mention playtime in a fenced off yard. If your dog has weak legs, can walk, but not super far, I have a large and smaller wagon, about the same length of the crates, so that they can still enjoy being part of the walk. Additionally, there are plenty of couches to stretch out on, and squeaky toys to toss around, and cuddles to be had :) A little more about me: I’m a Health Psychology MS graduate, currently applying to doctoral programs. I’m also a Penn State Alumni with BS in Microbiology and Psychology. Additionally, I own an Etsy shop: Basset Studios (should give you an idea how dog crazy I am lol). As I move forward in my educational career with grad school, my shop and volunteer work keep me occupied. Thanks so much for considering me, and wish all the best for you and your furry fam!!!

Elizabeth was fast getting back to me with such a late minute request. I received tons of pictures and a detailed description of my dogs time with Elizabeth. She also stayed longer than she needed to and pepper enjoyed all the play time so much! Would definitely book again, thank you ?

Lizzie was amazing! We had never left our dog alone before and having her stay with him while we got married gave us such peace of mind. She sent amazing updates and photos throughout her stay which made us feel really good to see how happy he was. She even left adorable treats for Hank to enjoy! Can’t recommend her enough!
