My wife and I used to patronize a coffee shop in the Heights. We have always had shepherds, but one of our daughters had to move and we inherited a husky named Sapphire. At the time Sapphire was having problems and we weren't even aware of it. Her thick fur and undercoat needed attention. Elizabeth sat down next to us and started rubbing down our dog. I was perplexed but Elizabeth quietly explained to me and my wife about a husky's need to be groomed properly. A week later I think we paid her 20 bucks to groom Sapphire at the coffee shop. She ended up with enough underfur in a pile to create a small pillow. My wife and I are probably 30 years older than Elizabeth. It is humbling to be lectured by any young woman but I have daughters. We learned a lot about huskies in two sittings. That was around 10 years ago. Elizabeth has been our dog sitter ever since. Any time we go out of town she has the keys to our fence and our dogs always love to see her. If you are looking for a walker or an "in your home" sitter, no one is better. My wife and I don't like people. We probably wouldn't like you, but everybody likes Elizabeth.
Hi, I met Elizabeth several years ago while having coffee with my elderly dog Nina, at the time Nina was blind and having problems with her hips. Elizabeth had her calm and walked her around slowly and to my astonishment had her wanting to go farther than normal. Nina has since passed but Elizabeth was there for us during the last 4 years of her life. Nina couldn't squat for the last few months and Elizabeth helped her when I couldn't, I hope you hire her simply because she will love people's animals as they do. Anne Perry

Planning
I'm currently available seven days a week so I have a very open schedule to love your fur babies. This allows me plenty of time to take care of you beloved family member as needed. My experience. I started looking after pets when I was a preteen for a little extra money. In high school and until a fee years ago I worked for quite a few different dog walking companies throughout Houston. I've worked a few different pet stores. I currently have 3 dogs 1 cat and a bunny rabbit. Each and every one is loved and spoiled of course. I've helped senior dogs and puppies. Done light grooming and light house keeping for each of my clients. I've administered meds and scooped litter boxes. No pup is too big or too small. I've helped clients round up kitties for vet check ups and helped with bath time. CANCELATION POLICY Full refund on all Cancelations, when requested by customer. What I offer: 1. Alternative pet boarding. Drop in visits for an extended period of time. - Have to take a trip for family. Why pay crazy boarding fees when I can come by up to 4 times a day to keep your precious babies company. Not all pets like to be boarded up. They get anxious so let's try to keep them home where they're comfortable and safe. Please let me know if there are any special in- home care for them. 2. Drop in visits (non- vacation customers) - Drop in visits can be daily or reoccurring visits for your pet. Is your schedule too full and someone needs to check up on the pups. I got you. This includes a walk, usually less than 15 mins; playtime, feeding if needed check up on water, and the house in general. 3. Dog walks - Walks can be daily/ reoccurring or one time bookings. Standard dog walks are 30 minutes, the timer starts as soon as we unlock your door. For hour long walks I prefer early mornings and evenings when it's not to hot. Afternoon walks are generally 30 minutes. Also, most services are negotiable. For example if you have 2 dogs and a cat I'll charge for the dogs. I care for you pets in your home. Safety and quality guidelines are as follows. 1. Ensure no pets escape the home by opening doors or gates slightly. No open windows. 2. Keeps pets in my care away from other animals during walks and Drop in visits. 3. Arrive in a timely fashion and stay for entire visit. 4. Keep a check list for you of everything done and if anything does occur. 5. Communicate often and effectively with customers. 6. Follow all instructions provided. 7. Insure all pets are secure in the home and doors are locked before leaving. 8. Focus on providing a stimulating and joyous visit by engaging pets in walks, games, activities and one on one cuddle times as needed. 9. Treat customers and their homes with respect at all times. 10. Treat all pets as if they were my own, giving them 100% of my attention.
