My husband and I currently have a young female corgi, Ellie, who we love to spend our time with! My husband and his family had a chihuahua that he took care of for 12 years before he passed away and we currently also dog sit for our parents’ maltipoo from time to time. We love being able to interact with different breeds and also let our corgi have some fun social interactions.

Elizabeth & Ernest was great for taking care of my timid and a bit nervous dog. They sent us pictures everyday with report for what my dog was doing. My dog also seems to like their dog. Definitely we like to book again with them in the future.
Elizabeth is a patient and caring pet owner who is passionate about animals and prioritizes their needs. She is happy to take a pet outside for walks several times a day and to explore new places like hiking trails. I would definitely recommend her as a pet sitter.

Schedule
We both have work from home days (sometimes separate or together) With our corgi, we walk her three times a day and give her lots of attention throughout the day.

Safety, trust & environment
We live in a townhome with three floors. If your dog needs some personal spaces, we have crates and gates we can use to keep the dogs apart. During playtime, there is lots of room indoors for them to run around safely. There is a grass area just two steps from our front door for quick and easy potty. There are lots of good walking trails available in the area that we like to take Ellie on.
Pets
A typical day
During weekdays, it’s a bit more routine when we work from home but we do walks around our neighborhood and they can play with our corgi. On the weekends, we like to find dog friendly trails and parks. We like to cuddle at home and also take adventures. With the dogs that we will look after, there is flexibility in how the day can look like.
