Your pet’s next best friend!
Since I was in middle school, friends and families relied on me to take good care of their pets. I always knew I wanted to have a profession in which I worked with any kind of animals. It wasn’t until 5 years ago, I got a job at an animal hospital. I started walking, feeding, administering medications, bathing, and cleaning after pets; then worked my way up into the medical department. I have been a veterinary technician for 3 years. Eventually, I want to go to vet school. Currently, I am taking a break from work as I finish my studies. I am able to look after any pet and administer medications if needed. I have experience in taking care of pets of all ages.

Elissa took care of our puppy really well and I would definitely recommend her. She was also flexible with the time and kept me updated on my dog’s activities.
Elissa would be a wonderful pet caregiver. She’s been a veterinary technician for several years now helping patients that come in or even helping family friends in need with their own pets. She is caring and makes sure that all animals she comes across gets some type of love. She’s responsible and trustworthy and she shows that by showing up when it matters the most.

Schedule
I am currently in school and taking a break from work to focus on my studies. I am available Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays at any time, and Fridays after 9:30am. Mondays and Wednesdays only available after 5:30pm.

I do offer doggy daycare and have a gated front yard for pets to have some outside playtime. If you find your pet is more comfortable in their own home, I will make sure their routine does not change and follow instructions needed to make sure pet’s needs are met.
Pets
A typical day
I love to stimulate pets physically and emotionally. We will go on walks and spend time in the fenced yard where they can release energy walking and smelling! I love to run, but unfortunately my dog is not a runner. So if your pet loves to run, let me know and we will go running! I love a good running partner. As for kitties, I have many cat trees and cat toys to make them feel welcomed and make them enjoy their stay.

My goal is to make them feel as comfortable as possible. If they have any boundaries or anything they don’t like, please let me know ahead of time. Also let me know the things they do like! Do they like to cuddle? Do they like going on walks? Do they like just sitting outside sunbathing? Do they like playing with toys? Let me get to know your pet so I am able to provide the best care :)
