I am a full-time veterinary assistant and surgery technician in school to become a licensed veterinary technician, so I care for pets all day! I am available for several hours in the evenings and anytime during my two off days.

As a zookeeper and vet tech, my full-time job is to make sure the animals under my care are happy, healthy, and safe, whether that’s at the clinic or at your home.

I would love to know the basic personality of your pet and what they enjoy doing on a daily basis. It is also important to know if they are reactive to other animals and what things I should look out for on walks to ensure we have the safest and least stressful experience together.

Pet care experience
I have been a sitter for neighbors since I was 8 years old and have taken great care of dogs, cats, rodents, reptiles, birds, and more. I took a 2 year course in Vet Science where I learned all about small animals, basic medical care, and grooming. For my degree in Biology, I focused in animal behavior and was trusted to take excellent care of many lab animals. I worked as a zookeeper that provided the daily care and training for animals ranging from 3000 pounds to a few ounces for over 5 years!

Dori has always been attentive and expresses excitement to see and care for our pups! We are going through a huge transition right now as healthcare workers traveling cross country for travel jobs. Dori has allowed us to know our pups were in good hands this weekend during this transitional time as we were back and forth and my fiance and I were states apart trying to coordinate this adventure. She kept us updated with pics. We are very appreciative she’s made this time in our life a little easier. Highly recommend ❤️
Dori is great with our dachshunds and goes above and beyond with them! She sends updates and cute pics to keep our minds at ease while we’re out of town. She even helped comfort our lop eared rabbit when she lost her male companion rabbit right before a trip we had planned for a wedding. She is attentive and seems to love all animals and genuinely loves being part of rover! We would highly recommend her to everyone we know !!
Dori was great with our 2 dachshunds and we will be happy to have her back over! She gave us updates and peace of mind when we were states away and they warmed up to her quickly!
