We used Donnie for 2 nights and the most important thing I would say is that Archie seemed less stressed than other experiences at pick-up. It was the 1st time using Donnie and he appeared to have professional experience handling dogs. He has a nice set up in the yard from what I could see. Not sure what the day to day experience is for the dogs but Archie did okay.

Donnie is great with my dog Tigger. He was there for 7 nights. I would use him again if I was staying in the area..

Donnie is the absolute best! Our dog is quite anxious and nervous around new people/dogs and environments, and Donnie knew exactly how to help him feel safe and confident, encouraging him to try new things while always respecting his timing and needs. By the end of his stay our dog was having so much fun, playing with other dogs and loving his time with Donnie. We 100% recommend!!

I was really hesitant to board my dog with anyone for 4 days. My dog, Douglas, can be a handful, and he hasn’t been allowed to be part of his daycare group, because we’ve told that he’s “too aggressive in his play.” Of course, this breaks my heart, and, naturally, I’m very hesitant to put him in any situation where there’s potential for injury. Donnie had such incredible reviews on Rover and he seemed like our best shot at being able to handle Doug without any issues. We did a meet-and-greet with Donnie, and by the time we left, any concerns we had with boarding Doug went away. Donnie was warm, welcoming, patient, and really kind. It helped that Doug loved him (and the ladies working with him). Donnie was really positive and confident that he could take care of Doug however he needed. Doug’s medications were administered as necessary, and he had comfortable accommodations (Doug is 90 lbs, so that can be a challenge!). Donnie was kind enough to give me photos and video of Doug, as well. Donnie is also a very experienced, successful dog trainer and he took time to help us learn how to teach Doug to walk on a leash properly. I watched Donnie, within 5 minutes, teach Doug how to stay next to him while walking on a leash. It was incredible. He was also gracious enough to let us borrow a leather leash for us to practice what he taught us on how to maintain control of Doug while walking. Additionally, Donnie offers free dog walking classes on Sundays, which I will definitely be attending moving forward. All I can say is, do yourselves and your dogs a favor and work with Donnie! He’ll be my go-to always.
