Boarding, Training, and Socialization!! Hello! My name is Donnie and I am a full time dog service provider with over 25 years of dog training and care experience. I now run my own boarding and training facility out of my home in Salem, NH and I am offering extremely knowledgeable and comfortable low volume boarding with socialization to those who book through Rover! In addition to this, I am well versed in many aspects of dog care and management including: obedience training, canine CPR, pet first aid, problem solving, and in home management. Services currently offered ⁃ in home boarding and training ⁃ large kennel for spending time outside ⁃ structured play time ⁃ free training sessions on Sunday mornings for boarding, and training clients

I was really hesitant to board my dog with anyone for 4 days. My dog, Douglas, can be a handful, and he hasn’t been allowed to be part of his daycare group, because we’ve told that he’s “too aggressive in his play.” Of course, this breaks my heart, and, naturally, I’m very hesitant to put him in any situation where there’s potential for injury. Donnie had such incredible reviews on Rover and he seemed like our best shot at being able to handle Doug without any issues. We did a meet-and-greet with Donnie, and by the time we left, any concerns we had with boarding Doug went away. Donnie was warm, welcoming, patient, and really kind. It helped that Doug loved him (and the ladies working with him). Donnie was really positive and confident that he could take care of Doug however he needed. Doug’s medications were administered as necessary, and he had comfortable accommodations (Doug is 90 lbs, so that can be a challenge!). Donnie was kind enough to give me photos and video of Doug, as well. Donnie is also a very experienced, successful dog trainer and he took time to help us learn how to teach Doug to walk on a leash properly. I watched Donnie, within 5 minutes, teach Doug how to stay next to him while walking on a leash. It was incredible. He was also gracious enough to let us borrow a leather leash for us to practice what he taught us on how to maintain control of Doug while walking. Additionally, Donnie offers free dog walking classes on Sundays, which I will definitely be attending moving forward. All I can say is, do yourselves and your dogs a favor and work with Donnie! He’ll be my go-to always.
Excellent first boarding session. My little Cavapoo seemed to have had a great time. Took to Donnie right away and gave us lots of tips on how to teach Tucker right from wrong. We will be returning.

Button would have been nervous anywhere but I felt that she was in good hands with Donnie. He kept her safe and that’s the most I can ask for until she gets used to being at his place. I appreciate his professionalism and confidence with dogs and training. We will likely book again when we are in need of pet care.
Donnie booked us last minute and provided excellent care for our 3 pups! We were able to get a weekend away stress free. Thank you!
My little Miss Sunshine (3 year old Cocker spaniel) came home happy. She was given some love and attention by a young family member.

Pets are cared for in our home. We offer crates, beds, kennels, a fenced in yard, bowls, toys, and medical supplies. All you need to provide is the pet and the food. DISCLAIMER: I am a professional dog trainer and use training devices when necessary to obtain desired behaviors, including training collars and e-collars.

A typical day
All services are provided on site. we have two indoor playrooms and an outdoor fenced in area that totals over 1200 sq ft. In the summer there is ample shade, fans, and a puppy pool.
