Boarding, Training, and Socialization!! Hello! My name is Donnie and I am a full time dog service provider with over 25 years of dog training and care experience. I now run my own boarding and training facility out of my home in Salem, NH and I am offering extremely knowledgeable and comfortable low volume boarding with socialization to those who book through Rover! In addition to this, I am well versed in many aspects of dog care and management including: obedience training, canine CPR, pet first aid, problem solving, and in home management. Services currently offered ⁃ in home boarding and training ⁃ large kennel for spending time outside ⁃ structured play time ⁃ free training sessions on Sunday mornings for boarding, and training clients

Great experience with Donnie watching Lucy. I have already scheduled a two night stay. Lucy seemed relaxed and comfortable in Donnie’s presence. Planning to make this Lucy’s go to location as needed . Definitely recommend
Our 2 girls were there for 5 nights and did amazing! Donnie did an awesome job, very friendly and left us feeling comfortable that our dogs were in good hands.
Overall I was disappointed with the quality of care my dogs received staying with Donnie. At first he wasn’t very responsive, but he did make an effort after I asked. Kinda weird getting video messages of my dogs at 3 am (why are they out so late??) My dogs came home smelling horribly, with my 9 year old schnauzer even having poop all over his leg. I think they were left in the crate for more than 8 hours throughout every day. My schnauzer is my best bud and every time I pick him up from staying somewhere he looks pretty happy, but he seemed needy and uncomfortable. We have used dog boarding services in the past and I could just tell the dogs didn’t have a good time with Donnie. In addition, none of the toys we brought with them were returned to us, or the $30, completely full bag of dog treats we provided, and it was only a 3 day stay. Our puppy seemed like he hadn’t been exercised in days and was bouncing off the walls. Considering the reviews he has received, I was genuinely really surprised with the quality of care my dogs got and will not be returning. The crate my puppy was put in was also way too small for him. Not sure if Donnie is going through a rough patch or if it was just a hard weekend for him, but I’m not going to pay to board my dogs and have them be neglected for days, so we will not be returning. They came back alive and seemingly okay for the most part or I would have left a harsher review.

Pets are cared for in our home. We offer crates, beds, kennels, a fenced in yard, bowls, toys, and medical supplies. All you need to provide is the pet and the food. DISCLAIMER: I am a professional dog trainer and use training devices when necessary to obtain desired behaviors, including training collars and e-collars.

A typical day
All services are provided on site. we have two indoor playrooms and an outdoor fenced in area that totals over 1200 sq ft. In the summer there is ample shade, fans, and a puppy pool.
