I have a nice secure fence so no worries about your pup getting out of our yard. I also keep a baby gate up in our entry way for extra protection. There is also entertainment of feeding the squirrels that the pups love to watch and can never catch! Lol

Because Opal is on the submissive side our guests must NOT be aggressive and get along with other dogs. I will not and cannot accept high energy pups. Your pups must be potty trained. I take them out at least every 2 hours and we also have a doggie door that is always open for them. . Because of a bad past experience we cannot take anymore pit or bull dogs. (Sorry!) I have a lot of repeat guests and like to keep peace and harmony here for a nice experience for all! IF, this sounds like a place that you are interested in, I promise that your baby will get spoiled and loved while you are away!
A typical day
They are always going to have lots of love, laps, attention and listening to me "talk" to them! They also like when it is time to feed the squirrels!

Please! Read my profile first. I will not waste your time and visa versa. I am someone who is reliable, trustworthy and will give your pet the care it needs as if he or she were a member of my family. I have 50 years of owning dogs, cats, rodents, fish, birds, etc. Being retired makes it easy for me to be home with your babies unless I have a doctor visit or a quick trip to the store. Opal, my sidekick, is super friendly and has been a Rover dog for over 8 years. Newcomers!! Do not send request without filling out pet profile please. Also make sure to read my profile in full to make sure that I am a good fit for you! I also will not take dogs weighing over 30lbs. No high energy pups and I prefer 2 years and older Thank you for understanding! I

Ms.Donna was incredible with my two (mostly toothless) elderly chihuahuas. I felt a bit nervous as my pups recently stayed for two weeks with another sitter (not from Rover), and both were exhibiting separation anxiety symptoms, and even one of them refused to eat for most of those two weeks. However, Ms. Donna’s loving, caring, attentive, and patient approach completely erased that negative experience from my pups’ memories. With Ms. Donna, my pups enjoyed cuddles, squirrel feeding, sunbathing, and lots of play in the backyard. She sent me daily sweet & detailed notes and added many great pictures that showed my pups having a blast! There were no issues (sigh of relief), and my pups seemed to have the time of their lives. When I came to pick them up, they were relaxed, content, and it almost appeared as if they were reluctant to return home. Also, Ms. Donna’s pup, Opal, is so adorable and a friendly momma type. My pups instantly felt at ease and had fun playing with her. Ms. Donna provides such a high-quality home-away-from-home experience, and we are very grateful to have found Ms. Donna! I know that next time I leave my pups with Ms. Donna, they will have a great time again! I highly recommend Ms. Donna!
Donna is so great with my dog. She understands he's a little spoiled by his mama, and takes such good care of him. He enjoys being at her home.
