I’m often entrusted with extended and live-in care, and I take stewardship of both pets and home seriously. I’ve cared for a wide range of animals and situations, including long-term dog sitting for a couple over several years, from weekend trips to multi-week stays. Before a period of travel abroad, they even flew me to Portland to care for their dogs, Sana and Osa, and their cat Ninja during a three-week wedding trip to Mexico. Sana required extra sensitivity and daily car rides to a quiet cemetery to avoid overstimulation, which I was happy to accommodate. I’ve also house- and pet-sat for a senior couple, caring for two cats, two chickens, and managing a daily bird-feeding system for local avian visitors who were dear companions to the homeowner. In another sit, I tended to a rescue crow and her two cat companions for a full month while the owners were in India studying Vedic astrology. In many of these situations, I’ve also been responsible for watering plants, collecting mail, maintaining routines, and simply being a reassuring human presence in the home—keeping things running smoothly, lights on, and the house clearly lived-in while owners are away. I’m very comfortable accommodating unique requests and supporting both pets and homes with care and respect.

I treat each home and animal with respect, discretion, and care.

Was available at the last minute when our regular dogsitter had a medical emergency. Very caring for our dog and took her on long walks. She was happy when we returned.
Diyana has been a constant reliable and trustworthy housesitter for us for several years, in both short term and long term trips where we had to leave our three pets behind. She is organized and reliable, friendly, kind, and has become a dear friend of ours over the years. Our two dogs are a handful, and she has always managed to maintain a calm demeanor around them and a willingness to support them in any way she can when we are gone. She adapts to their mealtime needs (which are always changing) and gives them constant love when we are gone. Our cat Ninja also loves Diyana, as she always gives him snuggles and he remembers her when she stays with us. Whenever we come home from our trips that Diyana has housesat for, the home feels full of warmth and peace and the animals are all very calm and healthy and happy. We love Diyana, she has been a lifesaver for us in so many last minute trips!
Diyana was a wonderful sitter for our Old English Sheepdog Mr. Marlowe and our shy cat Othello. She was easy to communicate with about the sitting and kept us informed of her arrival and departure timing as well as experiences during her two week stay. While we were away, a huge rain and wind storm was anticipated and she asked very astute questions in preparation for it. She sent messages and periodically sent us videos of our pets lounging, being petted, playing ball with Marlowe, and taking him for a ride. It was comforting to see them happy and relaxed. Our house was left spotless and neat and no excessive bills for utilities. Our pets were happy and healthy when we returned home. I highly recommend Diyana for your pets and house stay. Mo Ward
