A typical day
Here's where we'll take our walks We go for walks in the neighborhood which can include the Ahwatukee Golf Course or the South Mountain Preserve. We can also go to the dog park if your pooch plays well with others. Your dog's sleeping arrangement Wherever you want. Couch, dog bed, my bed, crate. Time I'll spend with your dog We work from home so we're always here to take them outside for a short break (they are not outside without a human). Afternoons are free for playtime, walks, hikes or trips to the dog park.

My husband, Alan, and I are a working couple but luckily we get to work from home so we're always home for our pets and yours. We are home all day in Ahwatukee to keep everyone happy and safe. Your dog will enjoy long walks around the Ahwatukee foothills and join me on hikes up South Mountain on the weekends (weather permitting). At home, your dog can relax on the couch or play with Lemon. We have a fully fenced yard for your dog to run around and enjoy. We do have a pool but dogs are always supervised and we do have outside cameras to always have an eye on them. We love all animals and have been involved in local pet charities. We'll treat your pet as our own and enjoy our time with them while you're away. About this sitter: Work from home couple with our best friend Lemon, an amazing rescue Schnoodle. Why I love dog sitting I had a dog as a child. Have always had cats but Soho came to live with us in 2009 and it was wonderful. Soho passed away in April 2022 so we adopted Lemon. Lemon is young and still learning but he’s well behaved and loves all other dogs. Meet my pets We do have one elderly female cat but when we have furry guests, she lives behind a gated area in the house. Everyone is separated and happy! About my yard The backyard has two shaded patios, a grass area and a pool. Pets are in the backyard with people. They are always supervised when outside They are not left outside for extended periods. My experience administering medication Yes, I've given medicine to animals before. Lemon takes daily meds so I’m very comfortable with it. I also have one client that requires twice daily insulin injections so I’m experienced in that.

This was Baxter’s second time staying with Denise, and he was so well taken care of. We got pup-dates with photos which we love. And Denise always goes above and beyond with any requests like how Baxter likes his breakfast prepared.
