Please read through all of my profile before submitting a request as I have specifications that your dogs may or may not meet. I am a semi retired certified dog trainer and have been training and boarding for 20 yrs. I worked closely with rescues and animal shelters and was training director for a shelter in southern California. I require a mandatory meet and greet before accepting new dogs, but there could be an odd exception. I generally only take one dog at a time there could be an exception which we would discuss beforehand. I am rarely gone for more than two hours at a time. All adult dogs must be spayed/ neutered.. My Border collie mix is a playful boy but is also respectful of older dogs who dont want to play. I have a pool. During the day, so your dog will be supervised when outside. I am happy to work on training while boarding if you wish. Thanks, and I look forward to meeting your kids! NOTE: I no longer take in bull breeds or mixes of the breed.

Luna had the best time at Denise and her sweet doggie Frankie’s home! She has the perfect fenced in yard for the dogs to play and they are never left outside alone. She also makes sure the gates are locked for safety. Denise sent photos throughout the stay and kept in touch frequently. I can’t wait for Luna to return! Thank you Denise and Frankie
Fabulous week for Juno our Alaskan Husky mix! She was so settled and happy with Denise and her Border Collie Frankie! Such peace of mind knowing Juno was in good hands and happy. Denise is a wonderful person. She understands dogs and she totally gets dog owners worries too. Would not hesitate to use her again!
My 2 dogs LOVED staying at Denise's house! I have a very rowdy golden who spent the days cannonballing into her swimming pool and chasing lizards (her fave!). My lab, however is very mellow and preferred to just sit back and watch, all while getting plenty of cuddles from Denise. She gave updates and sent a few pics throughout their stay and pick-up and drop-off was smooth and easy. They will be back!!!
Denise was great with my Joey. I would highly recommend her as a sitter and would book with her again!

Schedule
I'm retired so home most of the day so we get to play and cuddle most of the daytime and night. It's up to them where they want to sleep.

Safety, trust & environment
Padlocks on gates. Safety is my number one priority. I worked many years in animal shelters and as a trainer and know exactly how to keep them from getting out and lost.

A typical day
Swim, parks, honeymoon island. All kinds if fun things to do around here. We have the pinnellas trail and lots of parks around although they will always be leashed.
