Ive grown up with both crate trained and uncrate trained dogs both big (cane torso) or small (chihuahua) and have had no problem getting them in comfortably and safely. Having multiple pets makes keeping track of when they need to go out and when they should be fed very easy making sure to have as little accidents as possible and always checking the surroundings when letting them in and out of the house.
