I am also a Hairstylist and Skin care specialist. I rent a chair at a salon and make my own schedule, so my hours are flexable. I enjoy spending time with pets, but just don't live in a place were I can have one. I am not married and have no children, so I am completely available and focused on your pet.

Safety, trust & environment
I usually like to meet you and your pet/pets about 1week before the scheduled appointment, so I can get to know you, your pet and your pets routine, feeding times, walking, medications if needed, etc. This also helps the dog recognize me when I show up, when you aren't there.

Information Deborah P. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your dog has any special needs. I usually like to schedule a time for us to meet and go over the dogs routine, before the day you leave. This gives you and I a chance to meet each other, but also gives the dog a chance to meet me while they are in a comfortable environment are saves some anxiety when meeting someone new. Thank you.
A typical day
First thing I do is start a cup of coffee, for myself, feed the dog and make breakfast. I then usually take the dog for a walk. This all depends on the dogs regular schedule and the instructions that the owners have left for me and things we have discussed prior. I usually work a 6- 8hr day. I would come home, take the dog for a walk and then feed them their evening meal. I would let the dog out or, if there is not a fenced in back yard go outside one more time, before going to sleep.

Reviews

Deb is a 5 star sitter! Sadie loves her 😃

Deborah stayed with our almost 14 year old dog for two weeks. She was a great communicator, asked questions when needed, and sent daily photos. She kept a consistent routine including administering medication and two walks a day. What a relief to know that Dandy was well cared for while we were away for so long!

I hired Deborah to house sit and care for my senior and young adult dogs and she provided great care for them with love. When I returned from my trip, my home was just as I had left it for Deborah. I will definitely use Deborah again and highly recommend her!

Deb was great with our animals. She kept the house nice and tidy. We will definitely be using her for future trips
