I am retired and looking forward to devoting time to Rover. I also do volunteer work, but scheduling for that is flexible and will not conflict with Rover commitments.

Safety, trust & environment
I will make sure your pets are fed, have water and potty breaks; and are exercised through appropriate play and/or walks in your neighborhood. I will show them affection through petting, belly rubs, ear scratches and cuddles; and by devoting all of my attention and time to them. I will also bag and dispose of dog poo and check litter boxes as needed. I will provide updates to the pet parents after each visit.
Information David T. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your pet has any special needs and/or if they may exhibit any reactive behaviors around strangers or other animals. For cat visits, I like to know if they're inside and/or outside cats.
A typical day
Dog walking may include neighborhood walks, and/or nature and sniff walks depending on the wishes of the pet parents. Other activities can include fetching and possibly tug of war if appropriate for the dog. I will entertain cats with their cat toys and love using feather wands and tunnels to keep them stimulated.

Caring and reliable pet sitter.
Pet care experience
I am a retired senior that will provide caring and reliable dog and cat pet services, and will always strive to keep your pets safe, happy and well cared for. While currently a pet empty nester, my wife and I raised 3 Golden Retrievers over 30 years, all starting out with us as puppies. While new to Rover, I have a lifetime of experience with pets I grew up with, my family's pets and now occasionally over the last 5 years caring for my children's pets that include 2 cats and a reactive dog.

My kitties were fine and I am very pleased. David played with them a kept me well informed about their health and well being. Will contact him for future work.
David has watched our two cats, Luna and Dipper, numerous times over the past several years. He’s patient, caring, and genuinely loves cats. Whenever we go out of town, we know they’re in good hands — he always makes sure they’re well cared for and get plenty of playtime and cuddles. He follows all of our care instructions closely and communicates great throughout our trips. You can trust that your fur babies are in good hands with David.
My wife and I adopted a reactive dog several years ago. She is the sweety, and cuddly and fun to be around. She is also a terrifier of: mailmen, mailwomen, people on bicycles, anyone under 4'5", other dogs, any other animal. She is strong and has a loud bark. She has caught rabbits and groundhogs and squirrels and possums. She is a bit of a handful, to say the least. David has watched our dog, for extensive amounts of time in his home in Cincinnati. He carefully manages her tendencies and keeps her out of trouble. She always enjoys staying with him and being in his house, and is obviously well taken-care of.
