I am a stage 4 cancer survivor looking to turn my love of dogs into meaningful work that can pay my bills and help me rebuild my fuhds. Given clear and open communication, I can be somewhat flexible with my schedule. I have experience working with breeds such as beagles, German shepherds, and labrador retrievers. I am not looking to "just go through the motions" with pet sitting. Animals have always been a major priority in my life and I want to make sure your dogs are taken care of and enjoying themselves. I am usually available for afternoon and evening gigs. I am also willing and able to do overnight stays if given the proper notice to do so. I assess the pet's needs on a case by case basis. Some dogs are very laid back and only require food and bathroom breaks. For more energetic and/ or needier dogs, I am willing to do frequent walks and play with them. Also, I do currently still have an ileostomy bag attached to my stomach. For the most part, I am feeling healthier and dealing with less fatigue than when I initially had tumor removal surgery, but I feel like all of my clients should be aware of this from the jump.
