Give the best life to your pets
Pet care experience
I am a college graduate with a degree in animal science. I have grown up taking care of my animals at home, dogs and a cat, but also friends and neighbors and my very large 1600lb "dog" - my horse. I grew up around animals and wanting to give them the best lives they can have - even if that means helping you out because for some reason, you cannot do it yourself today. I have also interned at a vet office and always have an eye open to make sure that your dog stays healthy. I also have experience working with animals and giving them love. I have worked at a kennel and day care, I have done pet sitting at friends and neighbors houses, and have brought, at night, a dog to my house to board. I do prefer to keep the animals at their home, I do not want to put more stress on them than is necessary. You already being gone is usually enough stress on them already, and bringing them somewhere new and unfamiliar, most of the times, it makes the dogs more stressed out. I do not usually stay the night at my client's house unless the dog truly needs that type of companionship and my client is 100% okay that I stay at their house. It is something that I do not take lightly, because you are trusting me with something so close to your heart and I want to respect that. Your dogs happiness and health are a first priority. Any way that I can help you in making sure that your pet stays that way, is a blessing.

Darling was amazing with our babies. She sent pics daily and our 3 doggies seemed to love her. We felt very comfortable with her being in our home. We will definitely use her again.

When caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat it as if I’m caring for my own animals—with love, attention, and a strong sense of responsibility. I’ve been around animals since I was six and have over six years of experience working with veterinarians and in animal care settings, so I know how important routine, comfort, and safety are for each pet. I follow the schedule and care instructions you provide to the letter, whether it’s feeding, administering medications, cleaning up, or giving them the attention and exercise they need. I always take the time to get to know each animal’s personality so I can adjust to their comfort level—whether that means quiet companionship or playtime in the backyard. I also keep an eye out for anything unusual, thanks to my experience in veterinary environments. If something doesn’t seem right—like a change in behavior, eating habits, or energy levels—I’ll let you know right away. My goal is always to keep your pet healthy, happy, and as stress-free as possible while you’re away.
Information Darbi O. would like to know about your pet
I appreciate having as many details as possible about your pet before I begin care. The more I know, the better I can stick to their routine and minimize any stress from your absence. I like to know things like: • Their daily schedule (meal times, walk times, playtime, naps) • Any medication they take and the exact dosage/timing • How long they’re used to being outside or walked • Favorite toys, activities, or comfort items • How they behave around other animals or people • Any routines they love—like weekly car rides for treats or special bedtime rituals The less disruption to their usual routine, the better. My goal is to keep things as normal and comforting as possible for your pet while you’re away.
A typical day
When I’m watching pets, I make sure they not only feel safe and cared for, but also have fun! For dogs, that might mean going for walks, playing fetch, or just running around in the yard if they have the space. Some dogs love interactive toys or games that challenge their minds, and I’m always happy to engage with whatever they enjoy most. For cats, if they’re up for it, I love playing with feather wands, laser pointers, or anything that gets them moving and having fun. If they prefer a calmer presence, I’m more than happy to just sit with them, give gentle pets, and offer a cozy lap if that’s what they like. Every pet is different, so I always take my cues from them. Whether they’re high-energy or more laid-back, I tailor our time together to match their personality and make sure they feel loved and entertained while you’re away.

I’m currently working part-time as a medic, which gives me a very open and flexible schedule. I’m able to adjust my availability to meet your pet’s needs, whether that means early mornings, midday visits, or evening care. I do my best to accommodate last-minute requests whenever possible and am happy to work around your schedule.
