Our dachshund, Peaches, loved her time with Danielle. Danielle gave us lots of updates during Peaches' stay with her (which we loved!). We could tell she was well-cared for while we were away!

The new name for Danielle's home is Happy Hounds Hotel. Chester is always smiling for the camera when Danielle sends me pictures or videos. It is wonderful when you see your pup having such a good time. Then you can too.

When I requested services, Danielle was very quick to respond and receptive to my request for a meet and greet. Danielle was friendly and genuinely interested to learn about our dog’s daily routine, behaviors, etc. Our Goldendoodle, Daisy, hit it off with her and her sweet dog, Nyla, right away. Danielle was great about communicating and sending pics during our dog’s stay. I could tell that Daisy was having fun and being well cared for. We got pics of her on a walk, running free in the fenced in yard, and getting lots of love in the form of pets and belly rubs. Danielle even made Daisy a scrambled egg for breakfast when she wouldn’t eat her kibble. We had mentioned that we usually make her one for breakfast, but that was definitely not expected. We were also given some homemade treats for Daisy when we picked her up. That was such a sweet and thoughtful gesture. We are very fortunate to have found Danielle on Rover and have already booked with her again.

Always so grateful for Danielle and her family for taking such good care of our girls. There is no better comfort than knowing your animals are safe and cared for.

Safety, trust & environment

While I am caring for your dog, you can expect my full attention and a range of activities to stimulate them both physically and mentally. Daily walks and playtime coupled with enrichment activities such as backyard foraging, agility exercises (running, jumping), feeding puzzles, scent based sensory games, social interaction and brushing/grooming. I believe enrichment is crucial for dogs’ physical and mental well-being. Enrichment helps reduce stress, prevents boredom, and strengthens bonds. By selecting me as your pet caretaker, you can be assured your dog will receive the highest level of interaction. If you choose for me to care for your dog at my home, please know that I have a fenced yard and a 5-year-old fur baby. She is a 22-pound Puggle who is super friendly and will happily engage with your dog. I am able to accommodate most special requests (crate train if needed, special diet, administer medicine).

Individual/small group play, agility training, puzzles, scent work through foraging, snuffle mats, neighborhood walks and trips to the beach if your fur baby is comfortable with car rides.
