I’m Danica, proud dog mom to a wildly enthusiastic Australian Shepherd (if you know the breed, you know it’s basically a full-time cardio class!) and devoted cat mama to a majestic kitty who’s been by my side for 9 years and I recently rescued a new kitty. Caring for pets has been my full-time focus for over 2 years, allowing me to offer a flexible schedule that fits seamlessly into your pet’s routine. I truly believe it takes a village to raise happy pets, and I’d love to be part of yours. A little extra about me: I’m also a proud military veteran—organized, dependable, and calm under pressure (even if there’s a sudden zoomie outbreak). I am also a solo mama to a kind and bright 13-year-old who also happens to be huge animal lover.

🐾 When caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat their space with the same respect and care I would want for my own. I follow all instructions closely, from feeding routines and potty breaks to preferred walking routes and favorite toys. I keep things tidy, clean up after myself (and the pets!), and always ensure doors, gates, and crates are secure before I leave. 🐾 Safety and comfort come first. I typically walk dogs when temperatures are between 40°F and 90°F, adjusting for breed, size, and coat. On hotter or colder days, walks are shortened or replaced with indoor play, fresh water, and snuggles. Drop-ins are available from 9 AM to 8 PM, and I do my best to stay as flexible as possible. ✨ A little extra peace of mind: Along with Rover’s Guarantee, I carry my own professional pet-sitting insurance. That means your pets, your home, and even your keys are protected with an additional layer of coverage.

Danica was a fantastic sitter! Super quick to respond, very nice and professional. We had a mix of very social and shy cats, and she addressed all their needs perfectly. She even got the shy one to accept a treat! I will most definitely be hiring her in the future.
Danica is a wonderful pet sitter. I've used her services multiple times and she always impresses. She is dedicated and responsible, and loving with my animals. She sends detailed reports with great pictures that I look forward to seeing every day I'm not there. I trust her with my animals and will use her as long as she is available!

Danica has been great each time she has come and seen my cats. She is great with communication- if she needs to know something she will reach out and ask, ensuring she has all information she needs. I like that she has a cat of her own, so she knew how to get my cat jumping in the air after her feather, which she loves! She’s patient with my cats, letting them smell her first. I also appreciate her swift responses, thorough feedback, and going over the top for her last visit when I made a mistake surrounding my house key.
