Availability for sittings: Monday-Sunday. Same schedule for drop-ins and walks. Please request at least more than 3-5 for sittings. A week or ahead notice is much preferred. I can do last minute requests & even same day requests for sittings but it is not always promised. And if my services are no longer needed, PLEASE cancel ahead of time. I have a strict cancellation policy because other pet parents are unable to search for me due to a new Rover update if a response isn’t given. I only archive the message once a cancellation or confirmation has been approved by the pet-parent or so that others are able to find me to book in the future. I will 100% notify if I am able to work with you or not. It is simply so am able to be searched. VERIFY CANCELLATIONS. Thank you !!!!

Safety, trust & environment

I usually stick to sittings. I do walks and drop-ins as well. If you are close by and don’t require me to be there overnight I can do that too! Most pets are fine with this although I usually stay the night since pet parents prefer that on Wag! a lot. It depends on the location but I am fine with both. I do my best with every pet and go above and beyond. I like to keep them engaged, happy, and distract them from the fact that their parents are away! I hate seeing pets sad about this so I am big on giving dogs exercise where they can walk, sniff, and exercise to stay happy and healthy. As long as the client leaves clear instructions upon meeting and provides printed out notes and a little background of their pet beforehand. Printed out notes separate from the pet’s care (and where things are located) about the house is super helpful and will be expected. As I don’t want to bug you when you are away. I also like to leave periodic photos and videos of the pets. I usually cuddle w the pets, play, (but mostly take them on walks unless they are cats) fully depending on their care and the pet themselves. I am good at handling all dogs on walks. I am experienced with dogs who are reactive on walks. (Just let me know). I provide potty-time frequently fully depending on the pet as well. If you don’t have treats, let me know! Sometimes I have treats and bones on stand-by. I take care of the pet-parent’s home as well and always clean up before the service is over.

Information Cynthia T. would like to know about your pet

If they have separation anxiety. Behavior around others dogs, animals or people. Allergies and medical conditions/needs should also be noted. It is also important to note if your dog usually warms up to people or not. Some dogs are all bark and no bite so it is good to prepare for that upon meeting and getting to know them and keeping the environment safe.

A typical day

If the pet parents is okay with dog parks I try to go to them but usually I have them leashed and just pass by them. Or go on a regular walk(s). I usually keep a distance from most dogs because they can be untrained. I try to stay away from unleashed dogs. It all depends on the pet-parent’s instructions on whether or not they like to have their pet to be socialized. I like to play with them with their favorite toy if there is a backyard available or in the home. (Whichever is preferred by the pet-parent). I mostly chill and hang out with them. I LOVE to take dogs on walks and can provide multiple a day. I usually do one or two long walks depending on the pet parent’s notes and the dog’s needs. I like to take different trails on the routinely walks or whichever you would prefer. I also like to give pets treats/bones when they are allowed after dinner. I usually chill, play, give affection and attention, provide comfort to anxious and depressive animals, and nap with the pets as much as I can. The cleaner they are the better.

Pet care experience

Hi! I'm Cynthia(28yrs), and I am passionate about animals, especially dogs❤️. I love caring and being around cats as well. I am Pet CPR/AID/AED certified and take my job seriously. The health, happiness, and conditions of pets & animals mean a great deal to me. I used to be a vet assistant briefly but aim to work in Wildlife, but @ the end of the day I still adore this job. I have had all sorts of pets growing up so I am not limited to just the two and have taken care of other types of pets for clients as well! I have 13 years of dog-sitting and pet-care experience. I’ve done 6 years of leash-training and general training experience. Been on Rover & Wag! for the same amount of time as well. I have a 5.0 star rating on Rover & Wag! with great reviews as well aside from here w reoccurring clients. I have been on Wag! more consistently recently but I am still available on Rover! Please book/request ahead of time! At least 1-3 days ahead for walks (I take same day bookings as well) but week(s) in advance are much preferred for sittings. Available all days of the week! I am flexible most of the time. It is fully dependent on how my week(s) look like at the moment. You would just need to check in first if anything. ⚠️⚠️⚠️ DISCRETION⚠️⚠️⚠️: IF MY SERVICES ARE NO LONGER NEEDED FOR DROPS-IN, WALKS, AND ESPECIALLY SITTINGS PLEASE ADVISE ME WHEN YOU NO LONGER NEED MY SERVICES. AT LEAST A WEEK IN ADVANCE AND MORE FOR SITTINGS FOR A CANCELLATION IS EXPECTED. FOR WALKS & DROP-INS IT IS A THREE DAYS IN ADVANCE OR MORE NOTICE. Please remember to shoot me a message about a cancellation on Rover. Other pet owners are not able to find me unless I archive the message on whether the booking will be continued or not. Sometimes I will only archive so that other pet parents can find me. It doesn’t mean I cancelled. Re-booking is always an option. It’s a new feature Rover has added so unfortunately I can’t respond to multiple people unless I archive them all. If I approved a service with you and archived it. It doesn’t mean I cancelled. I only want to be found by other pet owners who are looking to book with me in the future. I will also archive once approved and submit whether or not we will continue and will definitely advise you on that as well. I expect the same. Thank you

Cynthia did an excellent job with our dogs and house. She provided regular updates and even engaged our slow to warm older dog. Would absolutely recommend her services.
