Caring home-from-home for your dog
My partner Joe and I provide a fun and reliable home-from-home environment where your dog will feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for. We’re happy to follow any specific instructions and diets and will treat your dog as if they were our own. We have over six years of dog-sitting experience, caring for dogs of different sizes, ages, and personalities. We’ve looked after young puppies to senior dogs, including golden retrievers, collies, cockapoos, and mixed breeds. This experience has helped us understand that every dog is different, particularly when it comes to exercise needs, routines, and levels of care. We also have a 1-year-old cocker spaniel cross dog who gets along well with other dogs.

Clare has been our chosen dog sitter for 4.5 years now. She cares for our two lively golden retrievers and manages their food routine, supplements and three off lead walks in a local woodland with care and diligence. She brings such a peace of mind knowing the dogs are well loved while I’m away.
Clare did a good job looking after our high-energy collie. She was reliable, followed instructions, and made sure our dog had walks, exercise and attention. She provided regular updates and our dog was well cared for and was very settled.

Schedule
We work from home most days during the week, which means your dog will have plenty of company, supervision, and attention throughout the day. Our working arrangements are flexible, allowing us to adapt to your dog’s routine, whether that’s regular walks, playtime, feeding schedules, or quiet downtime. We live close to a common, which is ideal for regular walks and exercise.

We have a secure garden that’s perfect for regular toilet breaks and outdoor time throughout the day. Dogs are welcome on the furniture in our home, but we’re also very happy to stick to any rules or training you have in place. We can follow any other specific routines or requirements to help your dog feel comfortable and settled.

A typical day
A typical day with us is relaxed, fun, and full of care. We go on 2–3 walks each day to the nearby common and can adapt to tailor to each dog’s energy level and needs. We’re happy to stick closely to your dog’s usual feeding schedule, and dogs are fed separately to ensure mealtimes are calm, safe, and stress-free. Whether your dog loves active play or prefers a quieter routine, we make sure they feel happy, safe, and well cared for at all times. Your dog will be treated like part of the family while they’re with us. 🐾
