Providing enrichment and exercise is how I like to care for my pups! I let my dog sniff and sense her world on walks, while maintaining a swift pace depending on their exercise demands.

A typical day
Happy to take a pooch anywhere it wants to go! From the park within walking distance to the beach that's a drive away. June and I start most days with either a walk, or a trip to the tennis courts nearby for some fetch. We come home for breakfast (with some scrambled egg) and then relax until our post-work adventures and dinner.

I've grown up with dogs in the home- mostly Newfoundlands which were usually larger than me. Slobber and dog hair were my first accessories growing up. Dogs have always been a big part of my life, so I'd love to get my puppy fix while caring for your pup! My previous pup experience includes: -Rescuing and fostering Nugget (pitbull/staffordshire terrier mutt). -Volunteering at a no-kill animal shelter in the outskirts of Chicago where I learned a lot about dog care and caring for pups from not-so-happy backgrounds. -Raise and train big breed puppies -Foster and sit for some grey-haired canines (Most recently, Paco, our 14 year old chihuahua friend). I'll give your pup some extra attention, some exercise, and keep him or her mentally stimulated while the parents are out. Would be glad to meet your fur-child, play some good ol' fetch, and give him a quick brush!

Claire was great and went above and beyond. She came to meet the dogs a few days ahead of her house sitting. They quickly bonded as she allowed them to slobber all over her. She asked many great questions and sincerely loves dogs. Claire did a great job of handling two large dogs. She fed them, took them for walks and provided medication. She was respectful of our home and we came home to find it in the same condition we left it. She even baked dog biscuits for them and washed the sheets from the guest bedroom where she was staying! I am so grateful we found Claire. I would not hesitate to hire her for dog sitting or house sitting.
Claire is phenomenal. I highly recommend her. She watched my Chihuahua who is very picky. She barks at everyone and acts like she will shred anyone who comes near her. She is actually a sweet dog, but very nervous and scared around people she doesn’t know. Claire knew exactly how to work with her and was able to take her out on walks and spend time with her. She was very gentle and amazing with her. I will be making sure to book her again.

Claire was so great. My dog Taz can be very reactive so he requires a patience and xtra care. I had no worries with Claire she took excellent care of Taz and I have no doubt she will take good care of your pup too!
