I grew up with dogs and have been hands-on with them my entire life. I was raised with two Australian Shepherds, later had two doodles, and I personally trained my dog Eli from the ground up. I also groom Eli regularly and groom friends’ dogs, so I’m comfortable with handling, coat care, and reading dog behavior up close. I currently live with three dogs — Eli, Leo, and Nala — and manage different sizes, temperaments, and energy levels every day. I’ve never been bitten by a dog and take pride in staying calm, aware, and respectful of each dog’s boundaries. I genuinely love dogs and spend a lot of time outdoors. An active, structured, routine-based lifestyle is natural for me, and that aligns closely with how dogs thrive. Caring for dogs isn’t just something I do — it fits my lifestyle and mindset.

I provide a structured, calm, and consistent environment. I actively monitor and work with all three of my dogs every day, reinforcing good behavior through positive reinforcement. Dogs naturally pick up on each other’s behaviors, habits, and rewards, so maintaining a balanced pack dynamic is a priority in my home. I focus on clear expectations, routine, and calm leadership so dogs feel secure and relaxed. By consistently reinforcing positive behaviors and addressing issues early, I help create a safe, well-managed environment where dogs can thrive together.

I had Christopher come by this weekend for a meet and greet, and I was immediately impressed by how knowledgeable and experienced he seemed with dogs. Since my dog, Nela, doesn’t do well around other dogs, I really needed someone who would be patient, attentive, and confident handling her on walks. Nela seemed to really enjoy her walk with Christopher today, which made me very happy and comfortable knowing she was in good hands. I also loved the photos he sent after the walk, it was such a nice way to see how everything went. I’m very happy with Christopher and would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable, patient, and experienced dog walker!

Christopher is truly a dog whisperer. He genuinely loves and cares for dogs, and it shows in everything he does. He has walked, groomed, and even cleaned my dog’s teeth—something I was both amazed and grateful to see, especially when he managed it using a banana peel. My dog absolutely adores Christopher. He is especially gifted at training and has helped retrain my 13-year-old dog after years without practice. His enthusiasm and affection for dogs are completely genuine and evident in every interaction.

Schedule
Pet care is fully integrated into my daily and weekly routine. I brush all three of my dogs every week and regularly groom each of them. Because we go to the beach multiple times per week, I also wash and dry them weekly to keep their coats and skin healthy. They are all different breeds with different coat types, which has given me strong hands-on experience managing a variety of grooming and care needs. Daily exercise is a priority — I walk and rollerblade with them every day, making structured activity and outdoor time a consistent part of our routine.

- Before care begins, I like to understand each dog’s individual needs and tendencies so I can provide the safest and most comfortable experience possible. Helpful things to know include what situations may cause anxiety or uneasiness, and how your dog typically responds to new environments or changes in routine. It’s also important to know whether your dog has reliable off-leash recall, especially for beach walks, and how they interact with other dogs. Any history of reactivity, triggers, or behavioral sensitivities is helpful to share in advance. Finally, I like to be aware of any food sensitivities, dietary restrictions, or treat limitations so I can keep your dog feeling their best and avoid any issues during care.
